Installation Steps
1. Tube Arrangement (FIG. A): Prepare conduits for wiring according to standards.
2. Preparation for Motor Mounting (FIG. B): Excavate and prepare the foundation, ensuring correct anchor placement for the gearbox assembly.
3. Removing the Cover (FIG. C): Unscrew front screws, push to release the cover from rear blocks, and lift the cover.
4. Mounting the Motor (FIG. D): Securely mount the motor unit.
5. Mounting Drive Accessories (FIG. E, E1): Install accessories like racks, ensuring proper alignment.
6. Rack Centring (FIG. K, L, M): Align the rack with the pinion, ensuring correct measurements (e.g., 2mm play). Welding operations must be performed by qualified personnel with appropriate safety gear.
7. Fastening Limit Switch Brackets (FIG. F): Attach limit switch brackets to the rack and secure the magnetic limit switch boxes. Ensure correct positioning for right and left switches.
8. Stops (FIG. N): Install mechanical stops to halt the gate's travel, preventing it from coming off the guide. Ensure safety edges are not triggered by these stops.
9. Manual Release (FIG. 3): Use the release lever to manually operate the gate. Avoid forceful movements.
10. Terminal Board Wiring (FIG. G, P): Connect power, motor, safety devices, and command inputs according to the diagrams. Ensure proper cable management and insulation.
- Local Commands (FIG. G): Use '+' to open, '-' to close, and either key to stop.
- Safety Devices (FIG. U): Connect safety devices like photocells and safety edges. Ensure they are compatible and correctly wired.
Control Unit and Programming
The control unit manages the actuator's functions. Programming is done via a built-in display or a universal handheld programmer.
Simplified Menu (FIG. 1): Navigate through menus for parameters, logic, radio settings, and diagnostics using the programmer's buttons (Scroll Up/Down, OK/Confirm, Exit).
Parameters Menu: Adjust settings like automatic closing time, slowdown distances, forces, and speeds.
Logic Menu: Configure operational logic, such as step-by-step movement, deadman mode, and safety device behaviour.
Radio Menu: Manage transmitter programming (adding, erasing, cloning).
Diagnostics: Access error codes and status information for troubleshooting.
Safety Input Configuration: Define the function of safety inputs (e.g., photocell, safety edge) and their behaviour (tested/non-tested, active during opening/closing).
AUX Output Configuration: Assign functions to auxiliary outputs (e.g., flashing light, courtesy light).
