DocumentDocumentBI-LEVEL MICROWAVE MOTION & DAYLIGHT SENSOR OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR #27845 PLEASE FIND A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN FOR INSTALLATION. Please read the instructions before you install the sensor and use the luminaire. WARNING, CAUTIONS AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS · To reduce the risk of death, personal injury or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels. · Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions. · If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of the luminaires, consult a qualified licensed electrician and check your local electrical code. · Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation. · Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before installation or performing any maintenance. · Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on. NOTE: · Warm up time is 15 seconds. After the sensor is connected to input power for the first time, the light will stay on for 15 seconds, then go to dimming to work normally. · Factory Default Settings: Sensitivity set to 100%. Hold on time 5 minutes. Daylight sensor is disabled (Set at ). Dimming level at 30%. Dimming time at 60 minutes. · RC-100 Remote (sold separately) required to change factory default settings. If any setting is changed, the LED light will turn on/off as confirmation of connection. · For use with specific PQL fixtures, with a compatible installed sensor socket. · Adjustable elbow #67845 may be required for installation, sold separately. ! BI-LEVEL MICROWAVE MOTION & DAYLIGHT SENSOR OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR #27845 CORRIDOR FUNCTION - RC-100 remote (sold separately) required for adjustments beyond the factory default settings. This sensor can provide tri-level control, for areas which require a light change notice (dimmed light) before switch-off. The sensor offers 3 modes of brightness: 100%-->dimmed light (natural light is insufficient) -->off; and 2 periods of selectable waiting time: motion hold-time and stand-by period. Features adjustable daylight threshold and motion detection sensitivity. With sufficient natural light, the light does not switch on when a presence is detected. With insufficient natural light, the sensor switches on the light automatically when a presence is detected. After hold-time, the light dims to stand-by level if the surrounding natural light is below the daylight threshold. Light switches off automatically after the stand-by period elapses. DAYLIGHT SENSOR FUNCTION - RC-100 remote (sold separately) required for adjustments beyond the factory default settings. When remote control is in setting condition push to select the daylight sensor settings. Setting in this example: Hold Time: 30 Min. Set Point On: 50 Lux Set Point Off: 300 Lux Stand-By Dim: 10% Stand-By Period: + (When the daylight sensor is activated, the stand-by time is +) 1 9:00PM The light switches on at 100% when there is movement detected. 2 9:10PM The light dims to stand-by level after the hold-time. 1 3 goes 4 in cycle at night ... 100% 8:10AM on when movement detected, and dims to 10% in long absence. 5 5:40PM When the natural light level exceeds set point off to light, the light will turn off even if when the space is occupied. The light automatically turns on at 10% when natural light is insufficient (no motion). 3 9:40PM The light remains in dimming level at night. POWER ON CHECK OFF Every 30 min. DIM No motion Motion 100% ON Hold-time ends Specifications subject to change without notice. Photos and line drawings may not be to scale and are for general reference only.
