Green Lion GL-MN15 Portable Nebulizer

SKU: GNMININEBWH

Product Overview

Thank you for choosing our small nebulizer. Please read this manual carefully to ensure safe and effective use. Keep it in a safe place for future reference.

Scope of Use: For evaporating medications for therapeutic use.

Target Audience: Suitable for adults and children.

This nebulizer works using rapid circuit oscillation, which causes resonance in the piezoelectric ceramic transducer. This vibrates the fine mesh network, allowing the medication to pass through tiny pores, forming mist particles. These particles are directed to the patient's respiratory system via a face mask or mouthpiece for inhalation therapy.

The vaporized medication is absorbed through the mucous membranes and tissues of the oral cavity, throat, trachea, bronchi, and alveoli, ensuring the desired therapeutic effect.

Product Components

The nebulizer consists of the following components:

Installation Instructions

  1. Remove all packaging materials and set them aside. Take out the main unit and accessories.
  2. Attach the assembled medicine cup to the main unit. You should hear a clear "click" when it is correctly installed.
  3. Attach accessories as shown in the medicine cup installation diagram.
  4. To add medication, invert the medicine cup, insert the cup opening into the main unit, and turn to secure it.
  5. Power Source Setup: This product does not come with a power adapter. Please use a reliable manufacturer's adapter that meets requirements IEC 60601-1 or GB/T 2010-2009. The power adapter specifications must comply with a 5.0V DC, 1A output.

Note: This device uses a rechargeable lithium battery, which is not replaceable and has a lifespan of 5 years.

  1. Connect one end of the USB data cable to the USB charging port and the other end to a USB power source to charge the lithium battery. Once the battery reaches operating voltage, the device will function normally.

Note: Before charging, ensure the power plug is connected. Do not charge the device with other electronic devices simultaneously.

6. Charging the Battery: When the battery charge level is low, use the power adapter (5V DC, 1A) to charge the lithium battery. Charging takes approximately 40 minutes. During charging, if the battery is not fully charged, the blue light will flash. After charging is complete, the blue light will remain solid.

Note: The lithium battery is pre-installed; do not attempt to disassemble or replace it yourself. The device cannot be used while charging.

Additional Notes

Warning: Dispose of used batteries according to local environmental regulations. Do not dispose of them with household waste to avoid environmental pollution. Never attempt to disassemble or repair the device or its components. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself.

Notes:

Cleaning and Disinfection

To maintain optimal performance and hygiene, it is essential to clean and disinfect the medicine cup assembly (including the mist outlet and cup lid) and accessories after each use. Follow the recommended cleaning and disinfection procedures:

1. Product Cleaning

  1. Component Disassembly: Carefully detach the medicine cup assembly, including the mist outlet, cup lid, and accessories, from the main unit. Soak them in clean tap water at a temperature not exceeding 40°C for approximately 5 minutes to remove any residual medication.
  2. Drying Parts: After cleaning, use clean, sterile gauze to remove excess water. Allow all parts to air dry completely.
  3. Cleaning the Main Unit: Wipe the exterior surface of the main unit. If there is any medication residue on the electrode contacts, use clean, sterile gauze dampened with water (and wrung out) to gently clean the area. Then, allow the main unit to air dry completely.
  4. Storage: Store the device and its components in a clean, dry place to prevent contamination.

Notes:

2. Product Disinfection

To maintain a high level of hygiene and safety, the medicine cup assembly (including the mist outlet and cup lid) and accessories must be disinfected after each use. The following disinfection methods are recommended:

  1. Chemical Disinfection (Recommended for medical institutions): Soak the medicine cup assembly (including the mist outlet, cup lid) and accessories in a solution of Benzalkonium Bromide (a new disinfectant) or 3% Hydrogen Peroxide for 10 minutes for effective disinfection. Alternatively, you can wipe the components with the disinfectant.
  2. After disinfection, rinse thoroughly with tap water and dry with clean, sterile gauze, or allow the parts to air dry. Note: Follow the instructions for Benzalkonium Bromide and Hydrogen Peroxide. Do not soak components for extended periods. Avoid using strong oxidizers like perchlorates or disinfectants that may damage metals, polymers, or plastics.
  3. Ethanol Disinfection: Soak the medicine cup assembly (including the mist outlet, cup lid) and accessories in 75% medical-grade ethanol for 5-10 minutes for disinfection. You can also disinfect them by wiping with ethanol.
  4. After disinfection, rinse thoroughly with tap water and dry with clean, sterile gauze, or allow the parts to air dry. Notes:
    • Wipe any disinfectant residue from the components using sterile gauze before storage to ensure safe use.
    • When rinsing or wiping the mist outlet, avoid touching the central mesh area to prevent damage and maintain the nebulizer's function.

Maintenance and Storage

1. Nebulizer Storage

  1. Store the nebulizer in an environment with a temperature between 10°C and 40°C.
  2. Relative humidity should be ≤ 80%, without condensation.
  3. The ideal air pressure for storage ranges between 860 kPa and 1060 kPa.
  4. Ensure the nebulizer is stored away from direct sunlight and in a well-ventilated area.
  5. Store the device in a location free from corrosive gases and away from heating devices or exposed heaters.
  6. After each use, clean and disinfect the nebulizer immediately.
  7. Once the device and its accessories are completely dry, store them together in the original packaging.
  8. Always ensure that the storage area meets the recommended environmental conditions, and avoid exposing the nebulizer to any shocks or rough handling.
