Setup Examples

The RPM45 can be configured in various ways depending on your needs. Here are common setup examples:

Setup 1: Subwoofer and Speakers

Connect a powered subwoofer to the 1/4" Line Out jack and two 8-ohm speakers to the 1/4" Speaker Outputs on the back of the unit.

Setup 2: Stage Monitor and Speakers

Connect a powered stage monitor to the 1/4" Line Out jack and two 8-ohm speakers to the 1/4" Speaker Outputs on the back of the unit.

Note: Line-level consumer devices like CD players or tape decks may require an RCA to 1/4" cable.

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
No power
  1. Ensure the unit is plugged in and the power switch is in the ON position.
  2. Check that the power cable is securely connected to the unit.
  3. Check and replace the fuse if necessary.
No sound
  1. Verify all appropriate cables are plugged in correctly.
  2. Check the Master Volume settings.
  3. Adjust individual channel volume controls, MP3 volume, and CD/Tape volume.
  4. Ensure your microphone(s) is turned on.
Noise
  1. Turn down channel levels one by one to identify the source of the noise.
  2. Unplug connected devices to see if the noise disappears.
  3. Ensure you are using the correct cables (instrument, TS unbalanced, TRS balanced) suitable for your connected gear.
Buzzing sound
  1. Ensure you are using a proper cable. For 1/4" cables, check compatibility (instrument, TS unbalanced, TRS balanced) with your connected gear.
No USB playback
  1. Make sure your USB flash drive is not damaged.
  2. Ensure the USB drive is formatted as FAT or FAT32. Drives formatted as NTFS are not recognized.
  3. Verify that the files on the media device are properly formatted (e.g., WAV, MP3, WMA) and not corrupt.

Fuse Replacement

Follow these steps to replace the fuse:

  1. Use a screwdriver to release the fuse holder.
  2. Remove the fuse holder from the unit.
  3. Carefully remove the old fuse.
  4. Insert a new fuse of the same type and rating.
  5. Re-insert the fuse holder securely into the unit.
