FUNCTION

1.1 Video Settings

Resolution

Allows choosing the desired video resolution and frames per second (fps). Higher resolution and FPS videos result in smoother videos, but also take more storage space. The video resolution is ONLY for FRONT camera recording.

Loop Recording - Off/1min/3mins(Default)/ 5mins

When enabled, select the length (1/3/5 min) of each video clip for loop recording. This function allows the Dash-cam to continuously record. The Dash-cam will automatically delete the oldest files when the memory card gets full, allowing continuous recording.

Rear-cam Mirror - On(Default)/Off

When enabled, the Dash-cam screen will display a mirror image, which should match your rear-view mirror.

Motion Detection - On/Off(Default)

Motion detection is a memory-saving feature that only records footage when motion is taking place. This feature should NEVER be enabled while driving, as it can confuse the camera when stopping and starting at lights. This function is designed for surveillance when the car is parked and NOT moving, typically when the user is not inside the car and continuous surveillance is desired.

NOTE: The sensitivity is affected by many factors, and the available distance is about 3 meters. This function will work ONLY when connected to a 3-lead hard-wire kit.

Time Lapse - Off(Default)/On

When enabled, the Dash-cam can sustain a longer operational period while reducing video file size. Video files will be played at high-speed during playback.

Record Audio - On(Default)/Off

WDR - On/Off(Default)

Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) processes images to ensure clear recordings in bright and dark light. This allows the Dash Cam to combine multiple images at different levels of brightness to create one superior image.

Frequency - 50HZ/60HZ(Default)

According to the power supply specification used in your country.

G-Sensor - Off/ High/ Middle(Default)/ Low

The G-sensor is a 3-axis impact gravitational accelerometer, designed to detect physical and gravitational forces on the Dash-cam. Once the G-sensor is triggered due to physical or gravitational impact force on the camera when recording, the current video file will be locked as an emergency file so it won't be deleted by the loop recording function.

Exposure -+2.0,+5/3,+4/3,+1.0,+2/3,+1/3,+0.0(Default)/-1/3,-2/3,-1.0,-4/3,-5/3,-2.0

To adjust video exposure setting for either brighter or darker video according to your preference.

1.2 Playback Mode

1.3 Parking Monitor

NOTE This function will ONLY work when connected with a 3-lead Hard-wire Kit.

Time-Lapse Parking Monitor

  1. When this feature is set to ON and the AZDOME 3-Lead Hardwire Kit is installed properly.
  2. When the car's engine is turned OFF and the key is turned to the lock position.
  3. The camera will STOP Loop Recording and automatically enter Time-Lapse Parking Monitor mode.
  4. While in Time-Lapse Parking Monitor, if someone hits your car, the camera will lock the current video in the LOCK folder, then continue Time-Lapse recording.
  5. When the car is started again, the camera will automatically STOP Time-Lapse Parking Monitor mode and return to normal video mode to start loop recording.

6.4 Date/Time Settings

The Timezone must be set first via [System Settings] ➜ [Timezone]. Then set your local date and time.

6.5 Stamp - Off/On(Default)

Time Stamp / GPS Stamp / Speed Stamp: When enabled, this information will be shown on the video or photo.

6.6 Storage

Storage Format Remind: Once a time duration is chosen and this function is turned on, the dash cam will prompt "Please format SD card" to avoid too many locked files interfering with loop recording.

SD Card Format: The Micro SD card must be formatted when inserted for the first time in the Dash-cam. The formatting process ensures the card's file system format is optimized for the camera.

Storage Info: To check the usage of the memory card, format the memory card regularly to ensure enough available space.

6.7 Language - Multilingual, default English.

Allows choosing the desired language for the dash-cam system.

6.8 System Settings

Fatigue Driving Reminder - Off(default)/1hour/2hours/4hours

Once a time duration is chosen and this function is turned on, the dash cam will emit sounds to alert the user.

Speed Unit - KM/H(default)/MPH

Beep Sound - On(default)/Off

To switch on/off or adjust the key tone.

Screen Saver - Off/1 min(Default)/3 mins/5 mins

When enabled, the screen will go black after 1/3/5 minutes of no-operation while the Dash-cam is still on/recording.

IR LED -Auto(Default)/Night Mode/Day Mode

This function works on the cabin camera.

Timezone Setting - UTC/GMT+12 to UTC/GMT-12, Default GMT +8

Before setting Date/Time, set your local Timezone first according to your location, then press "OK" to confirm. The timezone will not change automatically when daylight saving time starts/ends; it must be adjusted manually.

Allows restoring all settings to factory default settings.
