Warm Glycol Return Low Pressure Closed Loop System Cold Glycol Supply The FTSs is intended to be a low pressure closed loop system. Glycol pumped from the glycol chiller to the fermenter is then returned to the glycol chiller to be used again. This will allow glycol to flow through each fermenter's jacket without risking the chance of flowing back to the reservoir and overflowing the reservoir. Use the reservoir's sight glass as an indicator for glycol level. Reinstall the reservoir lid, and route the pump's lead wire(s) through the notch when the evaporator coil enters the reservoir. Lid Silicone Tubing Glycol Solution at 90% Full Level Sight Glass Evaporator Coil Glycol Chiller Pump Page 5 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED) Supply Line- Extend a length of silicone tubing between the glycol chiller's outlet barb and the hose barb on the check valve at the tank (Fig. A). Be sure to install the tubing to the barb that corresponds to the pump's outlet. Secure each end of the tubing to the barbs using hose clamps. Return Line- Extend a length of silicone tubing between the hose barb on the tank's jacket outlet (Fig. B) and the glycol chiller's return barb. Secure each end of the tubing using hose clamps. Note: If additional tubing is required to span the distance between the chiller and fermenter, you can purchase more at www.ssbrewtech.com or pick some up at your local hardware store.
