Setting Up Your TV
Step 1: Place Batteries in Remote
Insert the included batteries into the remote, matching the (+) and (-) indicators inside the compartment. Tip: Always use two new batteries from the same manufacturer. Avoid using damaged batteries. If the remote becomes warm during use, discontinue and contact support.
Step 2: Plug in and Turn On TV
Plug the TV into a wall outlet and press the power button on the remote control.
Step 3: Follow On-Screen Instructions
When the TV powers on, follow the on-screen setup instructions. The TV will detect wireless networks; have your network name and password ready. You can use the TV without a network connection.
Activate Your Smart TV
Activate your TV by linking it to a Roku account using a computer, smartphone, or tablet. A Roku account is required for accessing streaming channels. Note: Roku does not charge for activation support; beware of scams. A Roku account is free; while a credit card isn't required for setup, it speeds up purchases.
