Initial Setup
1. Auto-Connect Earbuds
A. Remove earbuds from the charging case and peel off the stickers.
B. Press and hold the touch sensor on both earbuds for 3 seconds to power on. The left earbud will turn solid white, and the right earbud will flash blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair.
2. Connect BLUETOOTH
Select 'JLab JBuds Air Sport' in your device settings. Two beeps will sound, followed by a solid white light, indicating a successful connection.

Setting up a new BLUETOOTH device
Turn off Bluetooth on previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on your new device and remove earbuds from the case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select 'JLab JBuds Air Sport' in your device settings to connect.

Button Functions
Left Earbud
- Volume Down: Single tap
- Activate Siri or OK Google: Double tap
- Previous Track: Press and hold for 1 second
- Change EQ: Triple tap (Cycles through 3 EQ settings)
- Power On: Press and hold for 3 seconds
Right Earbud
- Volume Up: Single tap
- Play/Pause: Double tap
- Next Track: Press and hold for 1 second
- Answer/End Call: Single tap
- Reject Call: Press and hold for 1 second
- BE AWARE On/Off: Triple tap
- Power On: Press and hold for 3 seconds
Sound Prompts
- Power On: Chime
- Bluetooth Connection: Two beeps
- Low Battery: "Low Battery" (less than 20%)
- Power Off: Chime
Turning off earbuds without charging case
Disconnect JBuds Air Sport in your device's Bluetooth settings. The earbuds will power off automatically after 3 minutes.
Equalizer (EQ) Modes
Triple tap the left earbud to cycle through EQ settings. Sound prompts will indicate the EQ mode.
- JLab SIGNATURE (1 beep): Emphasizes vocals and bass for JLab C3™ signature sound.
- BALANCED (2 beeps): Balanced sound profile.
- BASS BOOST (3 beeps): Enhances bass and sub-bass frequencies.
Charging the Earbuds
1. Charging Earbuds: Placing earbuds in the charging case will power them off and begin charging. A blue light indicates charging, and it will turn off when charging is complete. The left and right earbuds have indicator lights.
Charging Case: Connect JBuds Air Sport to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or less) power source using the included USB cable.

Fitting

Troubleshooting
No sound in left earbud or left/right earbuds not connecting (Manual Reset)
- Delete JBuds Air Sport from your device's Bluetooth settings. See Diagram A.
- Open the charging case cover, and place both earbuds in the case. Start with one earbud. Quickly tap the button 4 times. The light will flash blue 4 times, then turn solid blue indicating it is ready. Leave earbuds in the charging case. See C1.
- Repeat for the other earbud. Quickly tap the button 4 times. The light will flash blue 4 times, then turn solid blue indicating it is ready. See C2.
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Place them about 2 inches / 5 cm apart. Wait until the left earbud is solid white and the right earbud flashes blue/white to indicate pairing. They are now ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
BLUETOOTH device not connecting/reconnecting
- Delete JBuds Air Sport from your device's Bluetooth settings. See Diagram A.
- Turn Bluetooth off and then on. See Diagram B.
- Remove earbuds from the case. Wait for the left earbud to be solid white and the right earbud to flash blue/white.
- Select 'JLab JBuds Air Sport' in your device settings to connect.

QUICK TIPS
- Bluetooth connects to the right earbud. For the most stable connection, place your device in the right pocket or on the right side.
- If you only want to use one earbud, use the right earbud as the main Bluetooth connected earbud.
- Selecting the right ear tip will eliminate sound leakage and greatly improve sound quality. Test all ear tips for the best fit.
- Only one Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth for the desired device to connect.
Warning
Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case. Wet or damp earbuds can cause damage to the charging case. Damage from water or sweat may void your warranty.
Precautions
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Do not drop or crush earbuds.
- Earwax can build up on the earbud tips, affecting sound quality. Carefully remove earwax with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, lower the volume or discontinue use temporarily.
- If you experience recurring discomfort during use, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- Treat your earbuds like a nice pair of sunglasses; store them in a safe place when not in use.
