Safety Instructions
- Before installation or maintenance, ensure the main supply to the downlight is switched off, and circuit supply fuses are removed or the circuit breaker is turned off.
- A qualified electrician MUST be used for the installation of this downlight.
- This downlight must be installed according to the current edition of the IEE wiring regulations and relevant building regulations in your country.
- Check that the total load of the circuit, including when this downlight is fitted, does not exceed the rating of the circuit table, fuse, or circuit breaker.
- This downlight is designed for indoor and outdoor use and is fire rated.
- Do not cover the downlight with insulation materials.
- Make sure that 50mm above and around the downlight is free airflow.
- The downlight should not be installed within 50mm of any joints.
Installation Instructions
- Test the downlight before installing for correct operation.
- Cut a suitable hole in the ceiling as per the cut-out details, ensuring that it does not interfere with electrical cable, water/gas pipes, or ceiling joints.
- Carefully fold back any insulation material to allow at least 50mm free circulation of air.
- Remove the terminal cover on the driver by removing the screws, inserting a screwdriver into the front gap, and prying back the cover.
- Connect the main cable into the terminal block, ensuring correct polarity is observed and that if stranded cable is used, all strands are terminated.
- Refit the terminal cover, securing the mains cable under the cable clamp.
- Place the loop-in/loop-out driver through the hole and into the ceiling cavity.
- Fit the downlight into the hole in the ceiling with the 2 spring clips bent back.
Dimming
The downlight comes as standard with a dimmable loop-in/loop-out LED driver that allows the user to regulate the light output to best suit their lighting needs.
? The driver can be used with most trailing and leading edge dimmers, though this is not guaranteed.
? Please examine carefully the manufacturer's guide on the dimmer switch you intend to use and check the compatibility.
? In some cases, you may need to change your dimmer if the unit flickers or does not dim smoothly.
Bezel Replacement
Alternative color bezels are available. The downlight has a magnetic surface; to change the bezel, click another bezel onto the downlight.

Intended Use / Application
Product designed for use in households and for other similar general applications.
Mounting
Technical changes reserved. Read the manual before mounting. Mounting should be performed by an appropriately qualified person. All activities must be done with disconnected power supply. Exercise particular caution. Product has a protective contact/terminal. Failure to connect the protective lead may lead to electric shock. Check for proper mechanical fastening and connection to electrical power prior to first use. The product can be connected to a supply network which meets energy quality standards as prescribed by law. To maintain the proper IP protection level, the right diameter of the power cable should be selected for the cable gland used in the product.

Usage Guidelines / Maintenance
Any maintenance work must be performed when the power supply is cut off and the product has cooled down. Clean only with soft and dry cloths. Do not use chemical detergents. Do not cover the product. Ensure free air access. Product may heat up to a higher temperature. Product can only be supplied by rated voltage or voltage within the range provided. It's forbidden to use the product with damaged protective cover. Product must not be used in unfavorable conditions, e.g., dust, water, moisture, vibrations, explosive air atmosphere, fumes, or chemical fumes, etc. Non-demountable product. Not suitable for independent repairs.
Environmental Protection
Keep your environment clean. Segregation of post-packaging waste is recommended. This labelling indicates the requirement to selectively collect waste electronic and electrical equipment. Products labelled in this way must not be disposed of in the same way as other waste under the threat of a fine. These products may be harmful to the natural environment and health, and require a special form of recycling/neutralising. Products labelled in this way should be returned to a collection facility for waste electrical and electronic goods. Information on collection centres is provided by local authorities or sellers of such goods. Used items can also be returned to the seller when new product is purchased, in quantity no larger than the purchased item of the same type. The above rules regard the EU area. In the case of other countries, regulations in force in a given country must be applied. Contacting the distributor of our products in a given area is recommended.
