Ajax Online Smart WIFI Blind Motor
Instructions for Pairing with Smart Life and Tuya Apps
General Notes
For successful pairing, ensure your Wi-Fi connection is on the 2.4 GHz band. Each device must be paired individually.
Method 1: Pairing
- Account Setup: Download and register an account on the Smart Life or Tuya App. Tap the '+' icon [Add Device].
- Select Device Type: In the app, select "Small Home Appliance", then scroll to find and select "Curtain (Wi-Fi)".
- Enter Wi-Fi Credentials: Input your home Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. Confirm it is a 2.4 GHz network.
- Initiate Pairing Mode: Press and hold the "UP" & "STOP" button on the blind motor for 6 seconds. The LED indicator should flash BLUE and GREEN. On the app, confirm the LED is blinking quickly (e.g., "BLINK QUICKLY").
- Device Discovery: Wait for the app to discover the blind motor.
- Finalize Setup: Once discovered, rename the device as desired and tap "Done".
Method 2: Pairing
- Account Setup: Download and register an account on the Smart Life or Tuya App. Tap the '+' icon [Add Device].
- Select Device Type: In the app, select "Small Home Appliance", then scroll to find and select "Curtain".
- Enter Wi-Fi Credentials: Input your home Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
- Initiate Pairing Mode: Press and hold the "DOWN" & "STOP" button on the blind motor for 6 seconds. The LED indicator should flash RED and GREEN. On the app, confirm the LED is blinking slowly (e.g., "BLINK SLOWLY").
- Connect to Device Hotspot: Select "Go to Connect". In your phone's Wi-Fi settings, connect to the device's hotspot (e.g., "SmartLife-XXXX"). You may see a prompt about connecting without internet; select "Connect only this time" or similar. Return to the app to proceed.
- Finalize Setup: Once the device is discovered, rename it and tap "Done".
