Warning

2. Charging: LED1 green light always on; When charging is complete, LED1 off.
3. Do not scan the setting barcodes in the manual without instruction, as it may cause the barcode scanner to not work properly.
4. Some symbologies are not enabled by default. If you have a request, you can find them in the user manual under "Barcode Settings" to enable them. For more barcodes not available in the user manual, please contact OBZ for help.
Scanner Diagram Description: The scanner has a Scan Window on the front, a Trigger Button, a Power Port on the back, and two LEDs labeled LED 1 and LED 2.
USB Receiver Pairing Instructions
Step 1:
Method 1: Press and hold the button for 8 seconds until the scanner LED1 indicator flashes, indicating it enters pairing state.
Method 2: Scan the following pairing codes [QR Code: Pairing Code I] and [QR Code: Pairing Code II] in sequence. The scanner LED1 indicator will flash, indicating it enters pairing state.
Step 2:
Plug the USB receiver into the computer's USB port. The scanner LED1 indicator will be always on, indicating that pairing is complete.
Step 3:
Open a text editor (like Notepad) on the device. Use the scanner to scan compatible barcodes; the scanned data will be output in the editor.
Note:
1. After scanning the pairing codes or long-pressing the button to enter pairing state, please insert the USB receiver into the computer within one minute. If pairing is not completed within one minute, you need to scan the pairing codes or long-press the button again.
2. Only one device can be connected at a time. If you need to connect to another Bluetooth device, please turn off Bluetooth on the original device first and unplug the USB Receiver.

Mobile Phone Bluetooth Connection Guide
The guide shows screenshots of connecting to Bluetooth on an iPhone. It displays the Bluetooth settings screen, showing available devices and the process of pairing with "R&B40". A "Bluetooth Pairing Request" pop-up appears, asking to pair with the iPhone. After pairing, "R&B40" is shown as connected.
Windows Computer Bluetooth Connection Guide
The guide shows screenshots of connecting via Bluetooth on a Windows computer. It illustrates the "Add a device" screen, selecting "R&B40", and a confirmation screen "Your device is ready to go!". It also shows the Windows Bluetooth & other devices settings, confirming "R&B40" is connected.
Keyboard ON or OFF in IOS device

Instructions for uploading data when in Inventory Mode:

Note:
1) Instant Upload Mode: Data is uploaded immediately after scanning. If out of range, data is not saved, and alarm beeps will sound.
2) Automatic Storage Mode (default): If the scanner is in range, data uploads directly. If out of range, alarm beeps sound, and data is saved to the memory chip. Press the scanner trigger to upload saved data when back in range.
3) Inventory Mode: Data is saved to the memory chip. Upload data to your device by scanning the set code in the manual (Refer to "Data Upload Instruction in Inventory Mode"). For example, scanning "Upload all data" will upload all data saved in the memory chip.

FAQ
1.Q: Why does the USB receiver display a driver error (BLE Remote KMA Dongle) when connecting to the computer?
A: This error prompt (BLE Remote KMA Dongle) is for USB receiver upgrade; it does not affect pairing and usage.
2.Q: Why can't the scanner read the reverse barcode (white code on black background)?
A: The reverse barcode is disabled by default. Please scan the enable setup code on page 13 of this manual to enable it.
