The product structure diagram for the DSK**P5 model displays the external and internal components. Key parts include the water inlet, water outlet, heating elements assembly, thermal cut-out, temperature sensor, flow sensor, main control board, indicator light board, and control knobs.

2.3 Internal Wire Diagram

The wiring diagram for the DSK**P5 model shows the electrical connections. It details the main control board's link to the temperature sensor, flow sensor, indicator light and key board, terminal block, ELCB (Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker), relay, silicon control, and heating elements. The terminal block facilitates connection to the power supply (Live, Neutral, Earth).

3. Unit Installation

3.1 Installation Instruction

3.2 Power Cord Installation

  1. Remove the screws at the bottom of the unit. Lift up the Main Switch Knob and Power Knob to make them free. Remove the front plate gently.
  2. Remove the power cord wire pressing plate and keep the screws.
  3. Gash the middle of the film of the power cord jacket with a sharp knife to insert the power lines.
  4. Screw the power cord into the jacket for installation of the wire pressing plate.
  5. Tighten the wire-pressing plate with screws to the primary position, ensuring that the power cord is not pulled out more than 60N.
  6. Connect the power cord to the wiring terminals as shown in the diagram.

NOTE: The installation position of the neutral line (blue), live line (brown/red), and earth line (green/yellow) should correspond to the other end on the wiring terminals.

3.3 Water Heater Installation

Figure 1 illustrates recommended installation clearances. The unit requires a minimum 300mm space from surrounding walls for maintenance. The recommended height from the floor to the bottom of the unit is approximately 1.6m. The unit is mounted using screws at the top and secured with screws at the bottom.

3.4 Plumbing Connection

⚠️ WARNING

Metallic / chromed hose and conductive control valve shall not be used.

Figure 2 depicts plumbing connections. A water valve equipped with a filter must be installed at the water inlet. The blue marker signifies the water inlet, and the red marker indicates the water outlet. A water flow adjusting valve with a filter is mandatory. The use of metallic/chromed hoses and conductive control valves is prohibited.

3.5 Power Supply Connection

NOTE: A private power cord should be used for this unit. After connecting to the electric network, please check the earth condition and make sure the earth resistance is <4Ω.

3.6 Water Supply

4. Methods of Using

4.1 Operating Of The Unit

4.2 Leakage Testing

4.3 To Adjust Water Flow

Rotate the handle of the water flow adjusting valve to adjust the water flow.

4.4 Electricity Leakage Protection

When the electricity leakage testing circuit is working normally, if the leakage current exceeds a certain value between 7.5mA and 15mA, the "EARTH", "ELCB", and "POWER" indicator lights will be twinkling/flickering, and heating will stop. The unit can only be used after the fault is excluded. (When electricity leakage is tested, red and green indicator lights are all off, and heating stops.)

4.5 To Adjust Water Temperature

4.6 Use After Overheating Protection

NOTE: For first-time use, ensure power is supplied only after the unit is fully filled with water and there is a stable water flow from the shower head. The electric water heater may be damaged if the water hardness is too high. To guarantee the normal service life, please install and use it on the condition that the local water hardness is less than 450mg/L (CaCO3).

5. Maintenance

DECLARATION: This water heater can only be maintained by authorized service personnel. Incorrect installation and usage methods may cause serious injury or loss of property.

⚠️ WARNING

Do cut off power supply before maintenance to avoid dangers like electric shock.
