This document provides installation specifications and requirements for the Crem EX2 professional espresso machine.

Product Overview

The EX2 is an attractive and versatile professional espresso machine suitable for businesses with significant espresso demand, from independent cafes to national coffee shop chains. It emphasizes ergonomics and user experience, incorporating Crem's standards of performance and innovative technologies for superior in-cup quality.

Location Requirements & Dimensions

Diagrams show the dimensions for the 1 Group EX2 (515mm width) and 2 Group EX2 (735mm width) models, including depth and height requirements.

Water Connection:

15mm Cold Feed
3/4" Washer Valve
Filter specifications provided for WMMR, WMLR, WMXLR, WM2XLR models.

Waste Connection:

35mm Waste Pipe with downward flow from the machine.

Electrical Connection:

Ensure electrical supply is within 1 metre and suitable for the required load.
Models require different power supplies: 1 Group EX2 Mini Control (1N-220-240V, 13A, 2800W), 2 Group EX2 Mini Compact (1N-220-240V, 13A, 2800W), 2 Group EX2 Control (1N-220-240V, 16A, 3350W).
Note: Above 3000W is not suitable for 13A plug connection.

Worktop Requirements:

Worktop area must be complete and have adequate space for the machine and a grinder.
Preferred work surface height is 900mm for optimal working.
A 50mm diameter hole is required through the worktop for pipes/cables.
Worktop must be capable of supporting the machine's weight (48kg to 62kg depending on model).
Space for a water filter under the worktop is required.

Preinstallation Checklist

Ensure the following are completed before installation:

Electrical supply within 1 metre and suitable for required load.
15 mm Dedicated cold water supply within 1 metre with 3/4" washer tap.
35mm Trapped Waste Under worktop within 1 metre.
Worktop area complete and with space for machine.
Space for grinder with 13A socket.
Electrical and water supplies tested and working.
Coffee and cups available on site for machine commissioning.
Preferred work surface height of 900mm achieved.
50mm diameter hole made through worktop for pipes/cables.
Space for water filter under worktop.
Someone available to assist the engineer with lifting the machine.
Site access issues communicated to Welbilt.

Installation Note: Prior to connecting the machine or water treatment unit, flush at least 25 litres from the water connection point to clear any plumbing residue.

Please Note: Ensure the connected drain has a downward flow from the machine to avoid blockages.

Installation Confirmation

Sign and date the declaration to confirm all pre-installation checks are complete and the site is ready. Failure to meet these requirements may result in additional charges for a second installation visit.
