HOW TO INSTALL IT?
This water heater must be installed only by a certified installer.
- Gas Supply: The water heater must correspond to the type of gas to be used. The identification plate on the side of the water heater clearly indicates the type of gas for which the appliance was designed, as well as the electrical supply voltage for operation and the appropriate protections.
- Water Heater Preparation: Mount the accessory fixings on the wall for securing the water heater.
- Mounting: Hang the water heater on the wall using the 2 anchor ears located on the upper part of the water heater's back. Then, use the lower ears to fix it firmly, ensuring it is correctly leveled. (See page 6, Internal Diagram of Water Heater).
- Installation Curves: To facilitate installation, use the installation curves. These can only be used for cold water connections. For the gas connection, use a flexible metal tube with a wall approved according to ENARGAS standards.
- Gas Exhaust Duct: Before installing, connect the gas exhaust duct outside the water heater collar and seal with high-temperature silicone. The duct must be more than 0.15 m away from combustible material (frames, counterframes, etc.). When it is necessary to pass through a partition or floor made of combustible material, a hole at least 5 cm larger in diameter than the duct must be made to insert an insulating and non-combustible material.
- Leak Check: Open the water and gas shut-off valves, verifying the tightness of both circuits.
CLEANING
Use only a damp cloth or sponge with water and a mild detergent. Do not use any type of abrasive (powder, liquid, and/or synthetic fiber).
GENERAL INFORMATION
WARNING: DO NOT WELD WITHIN 80 MM OF THE COLD WATER CONNECTION (12) AND THE GAS CONNECTION (10). DO NOT REMOVE THE FLOW SWITCH FILTER (25) OR THE GAS FILTER (11). FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.

IMPORTANT
- Your water heater must be installed in a room with a minimum volume of 7m³, with ventilation in the door or wall in the lower or upper zone of 150 cm² each, the latter evacuating to the outside of the dwelling.
- It is not permitted to install water heaters in bathrooms or bedrooms.
- Ventilations must be at a maximum height of 0.3 m and the other at a minimum of 1.8 m above the floor, respectively.
- This appliance has a special safety device to prevent carbon monoxide (CO) accidents. However, this does not authorize its installation in bathrooms or bedrooms, nor does it eliminate the regulatory requirements for room ventilation. Any manipulation of the safety devices poses a serious risk to health, the consequences of which will be the responsibility of whoever performs it.
GAS CONNECTION
Keep the gas pipe clean. Gas connection pipes must be metallic and rigid. Install a shut-off valve that can quickly and safely interrupt the gas flow to the water heater. It should be visible, easily accessible, and installed at the lower end of the water heater between 100 and 200 mm. Use gas gaskets.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Class I Electrical Connection. The water heater (Class I appliance) has a 3-pin flat plug with a ground connection for connection to the electrical supply line. Do not eliminate the ground connection by using an adapter or replacing the plug with a 2-pin one. For your safety, your home installation must be equipped with a ground conductor and surge protection elements. If not, carry out the adaptation according to current standards with specialized personnel. Do not open the connection cover without disconnecting the appliance from the electrical supply network.
WATER CONNECTION
Install the cold water on the right and the hot water on the left. Install a shut-off valve for water control on the water inlet (right). Use water gaskets. This water heater must not be used with thermal water or well water. The use of water that does not meet tap water standards may cause corrosion in the machine.
CHECK FOR LEAKS
Open the gas and water shut-off valves. Check the tightness of the appliance and the gas and water connections. Start the appliance. Check the operation and installation of the combustion gas outlet. The installer must explain to the customer the operating mode and handling of the appliance.
We request that this manual be given to the user.

MAINTENANCE
PRECAUTIONS AGAINST FROST (Affects Warranty): If the water heater is installed in areas susceptible to freezing due to low temperatures, it is recommended to drain the appliance when it is not in use. To do this, follow these instructions:
- Close the main gas shut-off valve.
- Close the cold water shut-off valve.
- Open all hot water taps in the installation.
- Completely drain the circuit.
Alternatively, you can close the gas shut-off valve and slightly open the hot water tap, allowing a small drip to prevent the water from freezing.
OPERATION CONTROL: When the hot water tap is opened, the flow switch activates the control module, supplying gas and generating a spark at the spark plug. Seconds later, the burner ignites. (If ignition does not occur within 6 seconds, the electronic system will shut down. You must close and reopen the water tap to attempt ignition again).
REPLACEMENT PARTS: For good maintenance and efficient operation of the appliance, it is recommended to always install original factory replacement parts. This guarantees continuous, permanent, and safe use of the water heater.
MAINTENANCE (Not covered by warranty)
After the warranty period, the appliance should be serviced, thoroughly inspected and cleaned, and internal water ducts descaled if necessary.
- COMBUSTION CHAMBER: Clean the finned duct and descale with appropriate commercial products, following the manufacturer's instructions. Replace all gaskets and reassemble the inner body.
- FLOW SWITCH (FLOWSWITCH): Close the cold water shut-off valve, clean the filter, and replace the gaskets.
- GAS CIRCUIT: Check the gas circuit for leaks. To do this, operate the appliance and open the hot water tap; when closing it, the burner should not remain lit. Clean the gas filter located at the gas connection inlet if necessary.
- FRONT: Clean the front with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- SOLENOID VALVES: Check the correct operation of both solenoid valves as follows: With the water heater operating, disconnect one solenoid valve from its respective electrical connector and check if the water heater turns off. Reconnect the solenoid valve, and repeat the procedure with the second solenoid valve. The water heater should turn off again. If the water heater does not turn off in any of the checks performed, replace the affected solenoid valve with a new one. Note: After 9 years, replace both solenoid valves.
- SPARK PLUG DISTANCE: Verify that the distance of the spark plugs to the burner is approximately 4 mm. If the distance is different, it should be corrected.
WARNING: Insects such as spiders, earwigs, etc., are frequently found inside the burners. Therefore, as this situation noticeably impairs the proper combustion and operation of your appliance, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the inside of the main burners along with your recommended annual maintenance.
IMPORTANT: This appliance has a safety device for the evacuation of combustion gases, which verifies the correct evacuation of gases. If the exhaust duct or chimney is obstructed, this device detects the return of gases, cutting off the gas supply to the main burner and shutting down the water heater. If the appliance is installed without an exhaust duct, it will not function because the gas fumes return safety sensor will activate. This device must never be bypassed. If the gas is cut off by the action of this device, the room ventilation system and chimney ducts must be checked. If it is determined that the sensor is defective, it must be replaced with an identical one of the same origin. To restart the water heater, the room must be ventilated for at least 10 minutes before turning the water heater back on. If the water heater repeatedly goes out of service, call a certified installer.
