Package Contents

The package includes:

• 1 x POINT Unit
• 1 x Adapter Module

Tools Required:

• #4 Phillips Screwdriver
• Android 7.0 or iOS 12.2 Device

Product Setup

Assembly Units

1. Remove the PONT unit and adapter module from the packaging.
2. Slide the adapter module into the rack located on the back and bottom of the PONT unit until it is flush and in place.
3. Use a #4 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the #1 captive screws.

Mounting Options

The PONT unit can be mounted to three different systems: Rail Mount, V-Plate Mount, and Ram Mount. Refer to the diagrams below that match your mounting system.

Rail Mount: Illustrated with screws attaching the unit to a rail system.

V-Plate Mount: Illustrated with the unit attaching to a V-shaped plate.

Ram Mount: Illustrated with the unit attaching to a RAM Mount system.

App Download

Your mobile device must be connected to the internet to download the Scale-Tec PONT mobile app. Register and log into the app.

Power On

Press the power button [power-symbol] to power on the device.

• Power Button: Press to power on. Press and hold for 3 seconds to power off.
• Zero Button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to zero the scale.

*Note: If the PONT unit displays UNLOAD or LOAD at the bottom of the screen on initial power-up, press the square stop button [stop-symbol] to place POINT into Gross Mode.

Activate Device with App

To correctly calibrate the PONT unit, it is required to connect your profile to your PONT unit through the mobile app. Open the PONT app on your mobile device and follow the on-screen prompts to create your profile and complete the setup process.

*Note: After connecting to POINT, you will be notified if there is a firmware update available.

WARNING: Never charge your tractor battery with PONT connected to a power source. This will void your warranty.

Power Button and Connections

The PONT unit has various connection ports, including M12 and other connectors for power and load cells.

Connections:

• Power Cable: Connects to the power input.
• Load Cell Cable: Connects to the load cell input.
• AMP Connector: For amplifier connection.
• CROWN Connector: A 5-pin connector.

The PONT unit elevates ONLOAD of LOAD at the bottom of the PONT unit and comes to place the device and holds it in place PONT the close block.
