Proposed functional description (according to BIPS 4.7.10)
Mounting
The detector is suitable for surface mounting on all types of ceilings.
Configuration
The detector is DALI-2 certified (according to EN/IEC 62386-301/302/303/304) and must be connected to a DALI bus of a DALI-2 Application Controller (BMS system). The detector must be commissioned using the BMS software.
Commissioning App
Local sensitivity adjustment in 4 levels can be configured via the app using the 2-way Bluetooth® communication between a smartphone or tablet PC and the detector. The detector's firmware can be updated via the app.
Bluetooth® Communication
Bluetooth® communication can be deactivated via the BMS software.
PIN Code Protection
The detector can be protected with a 4-digit PIN code in the app to prevent other people from controlling the detector or changing its settings.
Connection terminals
Wires are connected via plug-in terminals.
Event log
The event log in the app shows all changes made to the settings of a specific detector.
Documentation
Documentation is available in digital form on an online portal. This portal also allows settings to be saved, reviewed, and released in PDF and/or Excel format. Detectors can be organized into specific projects or groups. Existing detector settings can be used as a template for new detectors.
Detection range
The detection range is documented according to EN/IEC 63180.
