What W ill Goodman Do To Correct Problems?
· Dam age or t he need for repairs result ing from t he use of unapproved refrigerant t ypes or used or recycled refrigerant .
When Does Warrant y Coverage Begin?
War rant y coverage begins on t he " inst allat ion dat e." The inst allat io n dat e is o ne o f t hr ee dat es depending o n t he circumst ances of purchase:
(1) For unit s inst alled in a new ly const ruct ed residence, t he inst allat ion dat e is t he dat e t he ow ner purchases t he residence from t he builder.
Goodman w ill furnish a replacement part , w it hout charge for t he part only, to replace any part t hat is found to be defect ive due t o w o r km anship o r m at er ials under no r m al use and maintenance. Furnishing of t he replacement part is Goodman's only responsibilit y under t his w arrant y and t he furnishing of t he replacement part is t he ow ner 's only remedy.
THE OWNER AGREES THAT THESE REM EDIES ARE THE OWNER'S EXCLUSIVEREM EDIESFORBREACH OF ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IM PLIED.
What Won't Goodman Do To Correct Problems?

How Long Does Warrant y Coverage Last ?
Regist rat ion is not required t o obt ain w arrant y coverage, but regist rat ion ent it les t he ow ner t o t he Registered Addit ional Term Warrant y described in t he follow ing paragraph. If t he unit is not regist ered, t he w arrant y last s for a period up t o 5 YEARS (t he " Init ial Term Warrant y" ).

W HETHER ANY CLAIM IS BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORT, BREACH OF W ARRAN TY OR OTHER BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, NEITHER GOODM AN NOR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES SHALL IN ANY EVENT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAM AGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIM ITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE OF A UNIT, EXTRA UTILITY EXPENSES, OR DAM AGES TO PROPERTY. 10. Survival and Enforceabilit y of t his Arbit rat ion Clause: This Arbit rat ion Clause shall survive t he expirat ion or t erminat ion, or any t ransfer, of t he warrant y on your unit . If any part of t his Arbit rat ion Clause, except w aivers of class-act ion right s, is found t o be unenforceable for any reason, t he remainder of t his clause and t he w arrant y shall rem ain enforceable.
