Assembly Instructions
I. Assembling Brackets for Side Extensions
At this point you will need:
- Shaft Bracket (②) - 4
- Shaft Grommet (A-4) - 8
- #10 Pan Head Phillips Wood Screw (A-3) - 16
- Squeeze the Shaft Grommets (A-4) to collapse them, then insert them into each end of the Shaft Bracket (②) side holes. Repeat for all four Shaft Brackets. (See Figures A/A-1).
- Locate the mounting holes on the underside of the DP-PRO Table. Screw down the four Shaft Brackets (②) to the DP-PRO Table using the sixteen A-3 Pan Head Phillips Wood Screws. (See Figure B). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN SCREWS.
II. Assembling the Stainless Steel Shafts to Brackets
At this point you will need:
- Stainless Steel Shaft (2 Hole) (③) - 2
- Stainless Steel Shaft (1 Hole) (④) - 2
- Retaining Snap Ring (A-5) - 4
- Slide the two Stainless Steel Shafts (2 holes) (③) through the front Shaft Bracket holes. Ensure the holes on the shafts face outward from the DP-PRO Table, and the grooves on the shaft ends are toward the middle of the DP-PRO Table. (See Figure C).
- Slide the two Stainless Steel Shafts (1 hole) (④) through the rear Shaft Bracket holes. Ensure the holes on the shafts face outward from the DP-PRO Table, and the grooves on the shaft ends are toward the middle of the DP-PRO Table. (See Figure D).
- Snap the four Retaining Snap Rings (A-5) onto the grooved ends of the Stainless Steel Shafts. (See Figures D / D-1).
III. Assembling Threaded Studs to Side Extensions
At this point you will need:
- Table Extension (①) - 2
- Threaded Stud (A-1) - 6
- 1/8" Allen Key (A-6) - 1
- Screw the six Threaded Studs (A-1) into the Table Extensions (①). Note that one side uses the first set of holes (A), and the other side uses the second set of holes (B). (See Figure E).
- Thread the Threaded Studs into the holes on the Table Extensions using the Allen Wrench (A-6). Do not install the Threaded Studs too deep; thread them to approximately 1-1/8". (See Figure E-1).
IV. Assembling Side Extensions to Shafts
At this point you will need:
- 1/4-20 Hex Nut (A-2) - 12
- Install a Hex Nut (A-2) onto a Threaded Stud (A-1). Thread them down to the bottom of the Threaded Stud, just touching the black surface of the Table Extension. DO NOT TIGHTEN THEM. (See Figure F).
- Raise the DP-PRO Table and slide the Table Extension, with the Threaded Studs, into the correct Stainless Steel Shaft holes. The Table Extension will fit flush with the back end of the Table. When the Table Extension is next to the Table, you will see which Threaded Studs align with the holes in the Stainless Steel Shaft. (See Figure F).
- Install another Hex Nut (A-2) onto the Threaded Studs until it stops against the Stainless Steel Shaft, finger-tight. (See Figure G).
- Turn the bottom Hex Nut counter-clockwise until it stops against the Stainless Steel Shaft, finger-tight. (See Figure G-1).
Note: After the Drawer Base is installed and the Table is turned right-side up, the Table Extensions can be checked to see if they are coplanar with the Table. Adjustments can be made by loosening and tightening these hex nuts.
