Product and Cut-out Dimensions
Dimensions | Width | Height | Depth |
---|---|---|---|
Cut-out (mm) | 270 | 490 | |
Product (mm) | 300 | 520 |
The cut-out dimensions for installation are 270mm in width and 490mm in depth. The product itself measures 300mm in width and 520mm in depth. The cut-out should also feature a radius of R10 at the corners.
An overhead view of the cooktop installation shows a typical countertop depth of 600mm. The cooktop is positioned within the cut-out, with the 270mm width and 490mm depth (plus 1mm tolerance) indicated for the opening. The overall product dimensions of 300mm width and 520mm depth are also depicted.
Installation Clearance Requirements
Side Clearance (Adjacent Cabinetry):
- A diagram illustrates a minimum clearance of 25mm from the top surface of the countertop to the bottom edge of an adjacent cabinet. Additionally, a minimum clearance of 20mm is required from the side of the cooktop to the internal side of the adjacent cabinet. This configuration is typically for cabinets without an appliance directly below the cooktop. A crossed-out circle symbol indicates that obstructions are not permitted in this clearance area.
- Another diagram shows a minimum clearance of 38mm from the top surface of the countertop to the bottom edge of an adjacent cabinet, specifically when an appliance is installed directly below the cooktop. A crossed-out circle symbol again indicates that obstructions are not permitted in this clearance area.
Overhead Clearance (Rangehood/Cabinetry):
- A minimum clearance of 500mm is required from the cooktop surface to the bottom of any overhead rangehood or cabinet.
- A minimum side clearance of 50mm is required from the edge of the cooktop to any adjacent vertical cabinetry or wall.
The clearance must meet or exceed the minimum recommended for both the rangehood and cooktop. For detailed rangehood installation instructions, refer to the specific rangehood installation manual.
