Further ecological information:
General information: Water hazard class (NL): B(4) Slightly hazardous to organisms living in water. The product is free of organically bound halogens (AOX-free).
The surfactant(s) in this preparation comply(ies) with the criteria for biological degradability laid down in Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents. Data to support this assertion are held in the disposal of the competent authorities of the Member States and will be made available to them upon direct request or at the request of a detergent manufacturer.
The organic complexing agents present in the product achieve a DOC elimination degree of 80% (according to No. 406 of Annex "Analysis and measurement process") and thus fulfil the stricter requirements of Annex 49 of the new Water Framework Directive.
Must not be discharged undiluted or unneutralised into surface water or drainage channels. Do not discharge undiluted or in large quantities into groundwater, surface water or drains. Flushing larger quantities into drains or watercourses can lead to an increase in pH. A high pH value damages aquatic organisms. In the dilution of the application concentration, the pH value decreases significantly, so that after use of the product, the wastewater entering the drain poses only a minor hazard to water.
Section 13: Disposal considerations
13.1 Waste treatment methods
Recommendation: Must not be disposed of together with household garbage or in drains. Must undergo special treatment in accordance with official regulations.
European Waste Catalogue: 20 01 29* detergents containing dangerous substances.
Uncleaned packaging:
Recommendation: Packaging that can no longer be cleaned must be disposed of like the substance itself. Uncontaminated packaging can be recycled. Contaminated packaging must be emptied as thoroughly as possible; it can then be reused after adequate cleaning.
Recommended cleaning agent: Water, possibly with the addition of cleaning agents.
