The orientation sensor can be turned on/off via the Accessibility settings menu.
Connectivity
Connecting to Wi-Fi
The notification bar displays an icon indicating the tablet's Wi-Fi status. A Wi-Fi network connection is shown with waves indicating signal strength. No icon means no Wi-Fi networks are in range, or the Wi-Fi radio is off.
1. Turn on the Wi-Fi radio if it is not already on:
- Slide your fingertip upward from the home screen to bring up the launcher menu.
- Touch the 'Settings' icon to enter the settings menu.
- Touch 'Network & internet' from the settings menu to access the Wi-Fi settings.
- To enable Wi-Fi connection, touch and slide the Wi-Fi option box to the right.
When Wi-Fi is enabled, the tablet searches for and displays a list of available nearby Wi-Fi networks. If a previously connected Wi-Fi network is found, the tablet connects automatically. If your Wi-Fi network is not listed, you can add it manually by tapping 'Add Network' in the Wi-Fi settings menu.
2. Select an available Wi-Fi network to connect to:
In the Wi-Fi settings menu, touch a network from the list. If the network is open, the tablet connects automatically. If the network is secured (indicated by a lock icon ?), you will be prompted to enter a password. Touch the wireless password box to show the on-screen keyboard, enter the password, and touch 'Connect' to confirm.
Upon successful connection, a Wi-Fi signal indicator will appear in the notification bar.
For information on adding a network not in range or with a hidden SSID, or for advanced Wi-Fi options, refer to the manual.
Connecting to the Internet
This tablet can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi data networks. It can connect to the internet through Wi-Fi data networks up to 300 feet away. However, this range is affected by the surrounding environment and the Wi-Fi router.
Requirements: Ensure your router supports 802.11n and accepts 802.11a/b/g/n/ac connections. A minimum communication speed of 64Kbps is recommended for a smoother experience.
For protected networks, you need to know the network name (SSID) and password. This information is usually found on your wireless router's management webpage or in its manual. For open networks or hotspots, connection is typically straightforward, with the tablet automatically obtaining necessary information from the router.
Bluetooth Settings
Slide your fingertip upward from the home screen to access the launcher menu. Touch the 'Settings' icon to enter the settings menu.
To enable Bluetooth pairing, touch and slide the Bluetooth option box to the right. Once Bluetooth is enabled, touch 'Pair new device' to search for and display nearby Bluetooth devices. Touch a device to pair; a window will pop up. Press 'Pair' to confirm. You can touch the icon next to the paired device name to rename it.

- Touch the black triangle icon to the right of the SD card to eject it.
- Push the SD card into the slot until it clicks and protrudes slightly.
- Grasp the edge of the card and pull it out.
Warning: To prevent card damage, do not remove the card during data writing or reading. For example, do not remove the card while playing music files stored on it.
Resetting the Tablet
If the tablet freezes or becomes unresponsive, you can reset it. If the tablet is connected to a computer, disconnect it first. Then, use a paperclip to gently press the 'Reset hole' on the side of the tablet.
