Front View Components

Charging Your Tablet
The tablet requires at least 3 hours of charging before first use; overnight charging is suggested for optimal initial use. Connect the supplied USB cable to the tablet and the other end to either a computer USB Port or the AC Charger (connected to an electric outlet).
Note: The charge light illuminates when charging and turns off when fully charged.
Powering On Your Tablet
Once fully charged, press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds to turn on the tablet.
Note:
- To power off, press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. A window with mode options will appear. Touch 'Power off', then 'OK' to confirm.
- To reactivate from Sleep Mode, simply press the Power button.
Unlock
To unlock the tablet from Sleep Mode, touch and hold the Lock icon (a padlock symbol). When it transforms into a circle, drag it to the right towards the Unlock icon (an open padlock symbol).
Note: To unlock and activate the camera, touch and hold the Lock icon and drag it to the left towards the Camera icon (a camera symbol).
Initial Setup
Upon first power-on, the tablet guides you through an initial setup. It is recommended to fully charge the tablet before starting.
Choose Language
Select your on-screen language from options including English (United Kingdom), English (United States), Español (España), French, Portuguese (BR), and German. This selection applies to Android Setup menus. Other languages can be set later in the tablet's Settings.
Select Wi-Fi
Choose an available Wi-Fi connection. If the network connects automatically, touch 'Connect'. If a password is required, enter it and touch 'Connect'. Then touch 'Next' to proceed. A Wi-Fi icon will appear on the status bar once connected. Wi-Fi can also be configured later via Android Settings.
Set Time and Date
Use automatic date & time (default) or set manually. Touch 'Next' to continue.
License Agreement
Review the End User License Agreement (EULA) from Sakar International, Inc. Touch 'I Agree' to complete the initial setup and begin using the Camelio2 tablet.
Camelio2 Tablet Tutorial Video
After initial setup, the Camelio2 Tablet Tutorial video appears. To re-watch it later, go to the Settings icon (a gear symbol) and select 'Tutorial'.
Parental Control Setup
The Parental Control setup allows comprehensive management of child access to apps. Options include:
- NEXT: Continue to Parental Control setup. You will be prompted to register a Google Account first.
- SKIP: Proceed to Home screen without setting up Parental Control.
- REMIND ME LATER: Go to Home screen; a notification will remind you to set up Parental Controls each time the tablet powers on.
Parental Control settings can be accessed anytime via the Parental Control app on the Home screen or from the Apps list.
Google Account Setup
When setting up Parental Control or accessing Google apps (Gmail, Google Play Store), you will be prompted to register a Google account (sign in or create new).
Google Registration Using Android Settings
Access Android Settings via 'Apps' then 'Settings' (gear symbol). Ensure Wi-Fi is ON and connected. Under 'ACCOUNTS', touch '+Add Account' and select 'Google'. Follow prompts to sign in or create an account.
Google Registration Using the Initial Setup
A Google Account is required for Parental Control, Gmail, Google Talk, and other Google Apps. Create or register an account to continue Parental Control setup.
Sign Into Your Google Account
If you have an existing Google Account, touch 'Existing'. Ensure Wi-Fi is connected. Enter your Email and Password using the on-screen keyboard, then touch 'Next' or 'Done'. Touch 'OK' to agree to Google Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Google Play Terms of Service.
Join Google+
If you haven't joined Google+, the 'Join Google+' window appears. You can join to enhance sharing with Circles, Instant Upload, and Messenger, or touch 'Not now' to continue without joining.
Google Services
The Google services option appears, defaulting to receiving news and offers from Google Play. Uncheck the box if you don't want this. Touch 'Next' to finish Google setup.
Create a New Google Account
If you selected 'New' on the 'Add a Google Account' screen, ensure Wi-Fi is connected and follow these steps:
Enter Name
Enter your first and last name. Touch 'Done' when complete.
Choose Username
Enter a desired username, which will become your Gmail email address. Touch 'Next' or 'Done'. The email's availability will be checked.
Create Password/Recovery Information
Type your password (minimum 8 characters) and retype to confirm. Touch 'Done'. Then, touch 'Set up recovery options' for Google password recovery, or 'Not now' to continue.
Join Google+ (for new account)
Similar to existing accounts, you can join Google+ or skip by touching 'Not now'.
Google Services (for new account)
Similar to existing accounts, manage Google services preferences and touch 'Next' to continue.
Finish Account – Terms of Service/Authenticate
Touch 'I accept' to agree to Google Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Google Play Terms of Service. To authenticate, type the displayed text into the text field. Touch 'Next' to finish setting up your Google account.
Home Screen
After initial setup, the Home Screen appears. The display orientation rotates with the tablet's physical orientation.
Tablet Orientation
The tablet supports both Landscape and Portrait orientations, with the screen content adjusting automatically.

Tabbed Apps Manager
The Tabbed Apps Manager helps organize and create shortcuts to favorite apps. Shortcuts can be added to the Home screen Tabbed Apps Manager, which includes 'Apps', 'Games', 'Social', and 'Tools' tabs.
1. Select a Tab:
Touch a tab (e.g., 'Apps' is default). Then touch the 'Add App' icon (a plus symbol in a box). The 'Setting' icon (a gear symbol) can also be used to remove an App.
2. Select an Application to Add:
A list of all applications appears. Scroll through and touch an App to select it for display in the chosen tab.
3. View the Shortcut:
The added shortcut for your selected App will now be visible on the Tabbed Apps Manager.
Parental Control with Google Setup
The Parental Control feature, accessed via its icon on the Home or Apps screen, allows setting app usage and time limits for children. After adding user info and a lock code, you can control which apps require a code and for how long unlocked apps can be used.
1. Parental Control Setup > Selecting ON/OFF:
By default, Parental Control is OFF, allowing access to all apps. To activate, touch the 'OFF' button next to 'Turn Parental Control On' to switch it to 'ON'. You will then be prompted to register a Google account if not already done. After Google setup, touch 'Set Up' to continue.
2. Parental Control Setup > ON:
After Google account registration, Parental Control turns 'ON'. Touch 'Set Up' to proceed.
3. Parental Control Setup > User Information:
Enter the first name, last name, and email. Touch 'Next'. Your existing Google email or the new one from initial setup will automatically appear.
4. Parental Control Setup > Setting the Lock Code:
Enter a 4-digit Parental Lock Code using the on-screen keyboard, touch 'Next', re-enter to confirm, and touch 'Done'. Touch 'Next' to continue.
5. Parental Control Setup > User Option List:
The User name appears with options:
- Unlock: Default setting, no password required.
- Lock: Touch the unlock icon (open padlock) to change it to a lock icon (closed padlock) for password protection. This requires your password to enter the Parental Control app and launch locked apps, and also when reactivating the tablet from sleep mode or off.
- Set/Edit Parental Controls: Touch the Edit icon (pencil symbol) to open 'Select apps for safe environment' screen, controlling settings for each app.
- Back: Touch 'Back' (left arrow) to return to the Parental Control Lock Code screen.
- Finish Setup: Touch 'Finish Setup' to complete Parental Control setup. An email with user info and Lock Code will be sent. Any changes to user info or Lock Code, followed by 'Finish Setup', will trigger an updated email.
6. Parental Control Setup > Selecting Apps for Safe Environment:
Touch the Edit icon (pencil symbol) to access this screen. Control app settings by touching 'ON' or 'OFF' next to each app. Swipe left/right to view more apps.
Available options:
- OFF: Default setting. App launches without Parental Lock Code. To deactivate all apps with 'OFF', touch 'Unselect All'.
- ON: Parental Control activated. App requires Parental Lock Code to launch. To activate all apps with 'ON', touch 'Select All'.
- Select All: All apps set to 'ON'.
- Unselect All: All apps set to 'OFF'.
7. Parental Control Setup > Parental Daily Limits:
Unlocked apps appear here. Control daily usage (based on 24 hours).
Options:
- OFF: Default setting, no time limit. Apps can be used indefinitely.
- ON: Set usage time in Hours: Minutes (default 24:00).
- Bonus Hour: Add an hour to total daily usage for all apps in the list. This hour is divided among all applications regardless of individual app settings. Multiple Bonus Hours can be added daily, but must be reset daily.
Touch 'Next' (right arrow) to continue Parental Control setup.
8. Parental Control Setup > Global Time Limits:
All unlocked apps are subject to 'Global Time Limits'.
Options:
- OFF: Default setting, no global time limit.
- ON: Touch the 'OFF' button to turn 'ON'. Set usage in Hours: Minutes (default 24:00).
- Time Limit Per Day: Set daily access hours (default 24 hours), accumulated from app usage.
- Time Limit Per Week: Set weekly access hours (default 168 hours), counted from Sunday through Sunday.
- Time Reminder: Add a notification before expiration time (up to 24 hours).
Touch 'Finish Setup' to save settings and return to User Option List screen.
9. Finishing Parental Control Setup:
Touch 'Finish Setup' from Global Time Limits screen to return to User Option List. Touch 'Finish Setup' from User Option List to complete Parental Control setup and return to Home screen.
Theme Manager
The Theme Manager allows tablet personalization with Theme App Cards (sold separately). Add many themes from characters like Hello Kitty, My Little Pony, Monster High, Barbie, Hot Wheels, WWE, and more.
1. Launch the Theme Manager:
Open the Theme Manager App by touching its shortcut icon on the Tabbed Apps Manager.
2. Add/Change Theme – Access the Online Catalog:
Touch 'Add/Change Theme' button to open the online catalog. Download new themes or select purchased ones to switch your tablet's theme.
3. Add/Change Theme – Add a New Theme:
To activate a new Theme, touch the 'ADD' button next to the desired Theme in the catalog.
4. Add/Change Theme – Activate New Theme:
Enter your first name, last name, email, and the serial number from the Theme App Card (sold separately). Touch 'Done' (on-screen keyboard). Touch 'Activate' to download and apply the new Theme. Download may take time. Collect all your favorite characters!
5. Add/Change Theme – Purchased Theme:
Once downloaded, the new Theme appears with a 'Purchased' button, indicating it's ready to be applied.
6. Add/Change Theme – Change Theme:
The 'Selected' button appears on the current theme (Vivitar is default). To change themes, touch the 'Purchased' button of the desired theme. The selected theme will then show 'Selected', and your tablet will change. Themes can also be selected and changed for specific users (see 'Add Users' section).
7. New Theme:
After selecting a new Theme, your tablet is personalized and activated with it.
8. Change Themes:
To easily switch between purchased Themes, touch the 'Switch Theme' icon on the Home or Apps screen. The Theme Switcher displays all purchased Themes for easy scrolling and selection. To add a new purchased Theme, touch 'Add New Theme' and follow the instructions.
Add Users
Add up to 5 different users, each with their own Theme, profile picture, and app preferences. To add, edit, or change a user, follow these instructions:
1. Launch the Theme Manager:
To manage users, touch the Theme Manager app shortcut icon on the Tabbed Apps Manager.
2. Access 'Manage Users':
Once the Theme Manager app is open, touch 'Manage Users'.
3. Add First User – Add Name, Select Profile Picture, Select Theme:
The first time 'Manage Users' is activated, the 'Add User' screen appears. Touch 'Add User' to add a new user. The current Theme is shown on the right. If Parental Control is set up, the Parent User name appears top left.
Add Name
Enter the user's first and last name. Touch the down arrow (bottom left of status bar) or 'Done' when complete.
Select Profile Image
Change the profile picture by touching the 'Profile Image' area and selecting an existing photo from your tablet.
Select Theme
The current Theme for the User appears below the Profile Image. Touch 'Change Theme' to open 'Add/Change Theme' options. The current theme shows 'Selected' with a checkmark. Purchased themes show 'Purchased'. To change, touch a 'Purchased' Theme button. A user's theme can be changed anytime to a different purchased theme, and each user can select their own.
Once all user information is complete, touch 'OK' to create the new User. If a different Theme was selected, it automatically appears on the Tablet after 'OK' is touched.
4. Additional Users / Switch Users:
Touch 'Add User' and follow the steps above to add up to 5 new users. The current user is highlighted.
To switch users, touch to highlight the user name from the list, then touch 'Switch to this User'. The tablet automatically changes to the selected user's Theme and settings.
Note: To delete a user, touch a user's name to select and highlight it, then touch 'Delete'.

This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser for one year against defects in material or workmanship under normal usage. Products will be repaired or replaced at no charge for parts or labor.
