Do not allow the shower spray to contact sensitive body parts (e.g., eyes). Maintain an adequate distance between the showerhead and your body.
Assembly and Installation
The premounted filter insert must be used to ensure the normal flow of the hand shower and to prevent dirt from entering through the pipes. Dirt entering can affect the function and/or lead to damages to the shower. Hansgrohe will not be held liable for this type of damage.
The filter insert (part number 97708000) consists of a filter element and an O-ring.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your hand shower.
Cleaning Instructions:
- Step 1: Using pliers, carefully unscrew the spray head from the shower hose.
- Step 2: Connect the shower hose to a water faucet.
- Step 3: Submerge the spray head in a descaling solution (e.g., a citrus-based cleaner) for a maximum of 10 minutes. Ensure the spray face is at least 20 mm below the surface of the solution.
- Step 4: Rinse the spray head thoroughly under running water for at least 1 minute.
- Step 5: Reattach the cleaned spray head to the shower hose.
