First Time Use

BEFORE USING THE DRYER

CHECK DRAIN HOSE AND WATER TANK

Ensure the drain hose on the back of the dryer is correctly fixed, either to the dryer's water tank or to your domestic sewage system (refer to Installation Guide). Also, confirm the water tank is correctly inserted.

Daily Use

⚠️ Make sure that no lighters or matches remain in the laundry.

⚠️ Make sure that the laundry is not soaked with flammable liquids.

  1. LOAD LAUNDRY

    Prepare laundry according to HINTS AND TIPS. Ensure pockets are empty, fasteners closed, and ribbons tied. Open the door and load laundry, observing maximum load sizes from the PROGRAMME CHART. A diagram shows the door being opened and laundry being loaded.

  2. CLOSE DOOR

    Ensure no laundry is caught between the door glass and door filter. Close the door until it clicks shut. A diagram shows the door closing.

  3. SWITCH ON DRYER

    Press the On/Off button ⚙️ until the programme button lights up. An animation and sound indicate the dryer is ready. A diagram shows the On/Off button.

  4. SET THE DESIRED PROGRAMME

    Follow the GUIDED MODE: Programme selection, then Drying time (if applicable), Dryness level (if applicable), and Options. Press the knob to confirm each step.

    Select programme: Ensure the Programme button ? lights up. Turn the knob to select, then press to confirm. The indicator next to the selected programme lights up.

    Find more programme information in the PROGRAMME CHART.

    Select Drying time, if needed: For Drying time or Airing programmes, set time from 10 to 180 minutes. Ensure the Drying time button ⏱️ lights up. Turn the knob to select time and press to confirm. Diagrams show knob turning and pressing.

INDIVIDUAL MODE: You can set programmes in any order. Press the relevant button, turn the knob to select, and press to confirm. It's recommended to start with programme selection.

To change settings of a running programme or start delay: Press Start/Pause ▶️ to pause, change settings, then press Start/Pause again to continue.

To reset a running programme: Press and hold the On/Off button ⚙️ until "rES" appears. The programme ends. Immediately open the door and unload laundry.

SWITCH OFF THE DRYER AFTER PROGRAMME END: "End" appears on the display. Press On/Off ⚙️ to switch off. Open the door and remove laundry. The dryer switches off automatically after about 15 minutes to save energy.

EMPTY WATER TANK / CLEAN DOOR FILTER / CLEAN BOTTOM FILTER: Refer to section CARE AND MAINTENANCE.

Hints and Tips

CARE LABELS

Respect care labels. Dots indicate drying temperature: Normal temperature, Reduced temperature, Do not tumble dry.

EMPTY ALL POCKETS

Remove objects like coins or keys to prevent damage to laundry and the drum.

ADAPTING THE DRYER TO WATER CONDUCTIVITY

Drying results are affected by water conductivity. The dryer has preset level 2. Choose between level 1 (most damp) and 5 (most dry). Press and hold the Programme button ? until the Conductivity Adjustment symbol blinks. Turn the knob to adjust level (1-5) and press to confirm. This is not needed for every cycle.

SAVING TIPS

Always dry a full load for optimal energy consumption. Maximum load sizes are in the PROGRAMME CHART. To reduce drying time, spin laundry with the maximum possible spin speed to decrease moisture content.

HEAT PUMP SYSTEM

This dryer uses a sealed heat pump system containing fluorinated greenhouse gases (Fgases) covered by the Kyoto Protocol. The sealed unit contains 0.37 kg of R134a refrigerant. GWP = 1430 (1 t CO2).

FUNCTIONS

START DELAY

Moves programme start to a later time (up to 23 hours). Select programme and options. Press Start delay button ; symbol blinks. Turn knob to select delay, press to confirm. Press Start/Pause ▶️; display shows countdown. Dryer starts automatically after delay. Display shows remaining duration.

To cancel Start delay: Press Start/Pause ▶️ to cancel (and press again to start immediately).

Care and Maintenance

⚠️ Switch off and unplug the dryer before cleaning and maintenance.

? Caution, the water in the water tank can still be hot.

EMPTY WATER TANK AFTER EACH DRYING CYCLE

Hold the handle and carefully pull out the water tank with both hands. Empty the water and reinsert the container securely. A diagram shows the water tank being removed and emptied.

CLEAN DOOR FILTER AFTER EACH DRYING CYCLE

Open the door and remove the door filter by pulling it upwards. Press the button to open the door filter. Remove lint. Close the filter and reinsert it correctly. A diagram shows the door filter being removed and cleaned.

CLEAN THE BOTTOM FILTER AFTER ABOUT EVERY FIFTH DRYING CYCLE

Be Careful. Some models may have different filters.

Open the bottom flap. Hold the handle and pull out the bottom filter. Remove the foam from the bottom filter to clean it. Clean the filter foam and filter by hand or under running water. Do not wash in a washing machine. Wring out foam; do not reinsert dripping wet. Fix the foam back onto the bottom filter. Clean the filter chamber with a damp cloth or vacuum cleaner. Reinsert the bottom filter. Close the flap. A diagram shows the bottom filter being removed, cleaned, and reinserted.
