Highlights
Kinematic Cameras, No Problem
The RS 3 Pro features extended carbon fiber arms to accommodate larger professional cameras, such as the Sony FX6 or Canon C70 with 24-70mm f/2.8 lenses, enabling new creative possibilities. The improved lower quick-release plate [1] offers a more stable camera mounting and supports lens support. A fine-tuning knob for the tilt axis allows for precise millimeter-level adjustments. Components coated with Teflon® reduce friction for smoother balancing, even with heavy cameras.
Automatic Axis Locks
The RS 3 Pro allows for quick deployment. When the gimbal is powered off, the three axes can be unlocked and extended automatically, enabling users to start shooting in seconds.
High Payload Capacity
Despite its lightweight design (1.5 kg including gimbal, battery grip, and dual-layered quick-release plates), the RS 3 Pro maintains the same weight as the RS 2 while supporting a robust 4.5 kg payload capacity, making it both powerful and lightweight.
The Next Evolution of RS Stabilization
With its new stabilization algorithm, the RS 3 Pro offers significantly improved stability in all scenarios. Lab tests indicate a 20% increase in stability compared to the RSC 2, effortlessly handling low-angle shots, running, and transitions between high and low positions.
