FAQ
1. What is the Wi-Fi password for the Wireless Android Auto Adapter?
You need to establish a Bluetooth connection first, not Wi-Fi. After successful Bluetooth pairing, it will automatically establish a Wi-Fi connection. Therefore, no Wi-Fi password is required. Ensure your Wi-Fi is turned on and free when pairing.
2. After pairing the Android Auto adapter, the USB connection cannot be started or is not compatible, or the USB connection is not recognized.
- When your car's Android Auto is used for the first time, use your data cable to connect your phone to your car and activate Android Auto via a wired method.
- Please ensure that Android Auto on your Android phone is the latest version. If not, please check your Google Play account to see if there is a new version to update.
- Please turn off your phone's Bluetooth and then turn it back on, and use the mobile application to search and clear the automatic cache. After the solution is completed, restart the adapter and then establish the Bluetooth connection again.
3. Problems with audio input or output: Calls are rejected or forwarded to voicemail / no sound played / microphone not working / music playback interrupted or paused / voice not functioning normally.
- Please check if the Android smartphone is establishing a Bluetooth connection with other devices such as headphones, watches, etc., or if your car's Bluetooth connection is not automatically re-established. If so, please disconnect from other automatically connected Bluetooth devices and establish a connection with your car's Bluetooth.
- During a call, check if your "Audio" output option is "Android Auto" from your vehicle's Bluetooth.
4. The adapter's blue indicator light is still on after the car is turned off?
Since the car does not immediately cut off power when turned off, the adapter's light does not turn off immediately but lasts for a while. Please rest assured that the power consumption is minimal and will not drain the car battery.
5. Can the mobile phone use other Internet Wi-Fi networks when using the wireless Android Auto adapter?
When using the wireless Android Auto adapter function, the phone's Wi-Fi is occupied by the adapter. Therefore, you cannot use other internet connections simultaneously. You can only use the internet via your phone's SIM card.
6. Automatic connection re-establishment is not possible
- Please ensure that your mobile phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functions are turned on and that Bluetooth is not occupied when you get into the car.
- Delete the pairing data, restart the phone, and re-pair the adapter.
7. Can the adapter be paired with multiple Android smartphones?
The adapter can be paired with a maximum of five phones, but only one device can be connected at a time. If you want to pair it with a new phone, please cancel the current connection first. Please note that the adapter's system defaults to automatically connecting to the last used phone.
8. Cannot find the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi of the Android Auto adapter?
Please ensure that the wireless Android Auto adapter's power supply indicates the blue light is on, and ensure you plug the adapter into the port designated for wired Android Auto. If possible, please test it with another Android phone. If only a specific Android phone cannot find the adapter's Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, please try resetting this phone's network and Bluetooth settings and then restart the phone. If the same problem occurs with other Android phones, it is defective. Please inform us.
9. Does the wireless Android Auto adapter support YouTube videos?
It can support YouTube. Please follow the procedure: Open the Google browser and enter "AAAD APK". Download the APK. Open "AAAD". Download "Carstream". Open "Carstream". Select "Activate Desktop Mode" to enjoy YouTube videos via wireless Android Auto.
