Screw the 2 set of BRASS CONNECTORs into the V-BASE. There are many slots on the V-BASE that you can choose to mount in, allowing the DP antenna to be positioned at different angles. V-shaped Set-up support@chelegance.com www.chelegance.com Horizontal Set-up Right-angle Set-up Connect the ALUMINUM ARM and MULTI-BAND COIL. support@chelegance.com www.chelegance.com Multi-band coil adjustment reference data We consider the end that connects to the ALUMINUM ARM to be the lower end and the section that connects to the TELESCOPIC WHIP to be the upper end. a. 40-meter band: The position marked by the red line at the lower end of the coil. b. 20-meter band: The position marked by the red line at the upper end of the coil. c. 15-meter band: The position of the top two turns of the coil. support@chelegance.com www.chelegance.com d. 10-meter band: Pull out all 10 sections of the TELESCOPIC WHIP, and then retract one of theWHIP to about 7cm (This band does not require the use of a coil). *Please note: To adjust the length of the antenna, simply shorten the whip on one of the sides; no adjustment is needed on the other side. Finally, connect the TELESCOPIC WHIP to the top of the MULTI-BAND COIL after it is fully extended. *NOTE 1 The above data is based only on the antenna at the maximum angle of the V-shaped setup. And the data will be different if the angle is changed. *NOTE 2 The shrapnel contact will only touch the marked coil and not the neighboring coils. 1-4.
