Unpacking

Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it, please do so according to any local regulations.

Connections

Ensure the unit is disconnected from the mains socket before connecting it to other devices.

Connecting the FM Aerial

Fully extend the FM aerial. Connect the supplied FM aerial to the AERIAL socket on the rear of the unit.

• Do not overtighten, this could damage the aerial.

• To avoid noise, keep aerial away from the unit, the connecting cables and the mains cable.

Speaker Connections

Connect the speaker cables at the back of the speakers to the SPEAKER OUT (6Ω) L/R sockets at the rear of the unit.

Connecting to the Mains Supply

Unwind the mains adapter cable to its full length. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket.

Operating Your Remote Control

Battery Replacement for the Remote Control

1. Press and slide the back cover to open the battery compartment of the remote control. [Diagram: Remote control back cover being slid open.]
2. Insert two AAA size batteries (included). Make sure the (+) and (-) ends of the batteries match the (+) and (-) ends indicated in the battery compartment. [Diagram: AAA batteries inserted into the remote control battery compartment, showing correct polarity.]

Install the batteries correctly by following the polarity (+ and -) indications in the battery compartment.
