OPERATION

Two distances are available: 3 inches (75mm) and 4 inches (100mm).

Adjustable dials adjust hinge offset: The jig features adjustable dials, limited to 3, 4, 5, and 6 millimeters, to set the distance between the hole and the plate, making drilling holes for cabinet hinges easy and accurate.

NOTE: The hinge jig can also work for 26mm hinges. To do so, install the 26mm accessories provided in the package.

Multipurpose cabinet jig: This hinge hole drill guide is suitable for 35mm hinges and is also compatible with 26mm hinges.

How to Use

1. Insert the opening cutter into the bracket.
2. Insert the limit ring into the block and secure it with a wrench.
3. Install the assembly onto the electric drill.
4. Adjustable dials, limited to 3, 4, 5, and 6 millimeters, ensure proper hinge offset. (Recommendation: choose 5mm.)
5. For drilling 26mm hinge holes, install the 26mm auxiliary accessories onto the stop block located on the back of the main body.
6. Place the positioning rod according to the required edge distance.
7. Use the clamp to fasten the jig and install the cutter.
8. Drill the 35mm hole and then remove the cutter. NOTE: Stop drilling when the checking ring reaches the end of the bracket.
9. Use the small drill bit to drill the side holes. NOTE: The pivot holes are positioned at 46mm, 48mm, or 52mm distances from each other.
10. Clean away sawdust and install the hinge.

MAINTENANCE

1. After each use, install the jig properly and keep it in a safe place to avoid losing parts.
2. Clean the surface of the jig after each use.
