Getting Started: Step-by-Step Instructions
Order Your Boards
This solution requires two NXP boards. The orderable part numbers are: NAFE13388-UIM and FRDM-MCXN947.
Connecting the Boards
Connect the NAFE13388-UIM shield board to the FRDM-MCXN947 development board as illustrated in the provided documentation.
Evaluating the Solution
- Connect a 15V power adapter (SMI6B-15-K-P5-ND) to the J7 DC power jack on the NAFE13388-UIM board.
- Connect the provided USB cable to the FRDM-MCXN947 (MCU-Link USB) kit.
- Open the "NAFE13388 universal analog sensing module" firmware repository in Application Code Hub. Select USB connectivity and follow the GUI guide steps to configure the AFE and launch the web server application.
- Apply DC voltage to the AI1+ test point on the NAFE13388-UIM board.
- Click the "Start" button in the FreeMaster oscilloscope window to stream real-time samples.
