IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ BEFORE INSTALLATION This luminaire is intended for installation in accordance with local codes and the National Electric Code (NEC). Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in serious injury, property damage and void the warranty. These instructions do not intend to cover all variations in installation, operation maintenance or mounting situations. Please note that these solar fixtures are equipped with built-in photocells, so they will not turn on until it is dark enough. These fixtures will also require plenty of sunlight to function properly. It's best to have the fixture in an area where the sun will get to it at all times throughout the day and where no ambient lighting will affect the photocell at night. If your fixture is not functioning at night, be sure that the on/off button has been engaged. CHARGING THE BATTERY: To allow each battery to reach full capacity and perform correctly, place the solar light in full sunlight for 8 hours. Failure to do so can shorten the life of the battery or operation of the light. On cloudy or rainy days, it may take several days for the batteries to fully charge. NOTE: Battery performance is affected by weather and temperature. Expect reduced performance in adverse conditions of cold, extreme cold, extreme heat, plus humidity and dampness. ! Pull Tab PULL 2 TEST SOLAR LIGHT Battery Compartment Solar Panel ON-OFF Switch Cover PUSH Solar Panel Fixture Turn the ON-OFF switch to ON. Cover the panel. The fixture will light up when the solar panel is covered and turn back off when it is uncovered. Hammer the stake into the ground until flange of stake is flush to grade. To avoid damage to the stake, place a board on top of the stake while hammering. NOTE: If the ground is hard and the stake is difficult to install, make a crosscut in the ground using a flat shovel. 4 INSTALL FIXTURE BODY TO STAKE Insert the fixture onto the stake. Tighten the lock ring after adjustment. 2.Loosen the knuckle of the solar panel. Adjust the solar panel to the direction of the most sunlight. Tighten the knuckle after adjustment. 6 ADJUST SPOT LIGHT DIRECTION ROTATE Loosen the knuckle of the spot light. Adjust the spot light to the desired direction. Tighten the knuckle to hold the spotlight in place. Spot Light Knuckle 813.978.3700 · customersupport@voltlighting.com · www.voltlighting.com 6 7 ADJUST LUMEN OUTPUT Battery Compartment Solar Panel Lumen Output Switch PUSH By pushing the lumen output switch on the back of the battery compartment, adjust the lumen output according to your desired runtime: · H (High) 175 Lumens [4 hours Runtime] · M (Medium) 125 Lumens [6 hours Runtime] · L (Low) 75 Lumens [8 hours Runtime] Lumen Output Switch HOW TO REPLACE BATTERY 1 REMOVE COVER Battery Compartment Loosen the screws on the back of the solar panel to remove the cover from the battery compartment. Tighten with a screwdriver.
