Preparation Before Flight

Charging Drone Battery

Connect the drone battery to the USB Charging Cable. Plug the cable into a USB port (5V/1A) on a power bank or adapter. Charging takes approximately 60 minutes. The indicator light is Red while charging and Green when fully charged.

Low Battery Signal: Drone indicator flashes continuously, transmitter beeps.

Important: Read "Use of Battery" in Safety Guidelines. Use the original charging cable. Do not charge immediately after flight if the battery is hot; wait until it cools.

Changing Transmitter Batteries

Open the battery cover on the back of the transmitter. Insert three AAA batteries (not included) and close the cover.

Important: Refer to "Use of Battery" in Safety Guidelines. Ensure correct battery polarity.

Drone Battery

Installation: Align the battery with the buckle on the back of the drone and push forward until securely installed.

Removal: Hold the sides of the battery, pull it back, and lift upwards.

Propellers

Installation: Connect each propeller to its corresponding motor shaft and press into place. Ensure correct propeller (A or B) is installed on the correct motor shaft for flight.

Removal: Turn the drone upside down. Unscrew the bottom screws. Insert the propeller spanner between the propeller and motor. Hold the motor while detaching the propeller.

Flight

Pairing

  1. Long press the Power Switch button to turn on the drone. The drone indicator will flash.
  2. Place the drone on a flat, level surface with the head facing forward.
  3. Long press the Power Switch on the transmitter. Once the transmitter beeps and the indicator turns solid, the drone is paired.

Calibrate the Gyro

Simultaneously push the left and right joysticks to the outer, lower corners. The drone indicator will blink and turn solid, and the transmitter will beep once. Calibration is complete.

Recommendation: Calibrate the gyro every time after pairing and after a crash for stable flight.

Unlock the Motors

Simultaneously push the left joystick to the bottom right corner and the right joystick to the bottom left corner. The motors will rotate, and the drone is unlocked.

To lock the motors, pull the left joystick down for 2 seconds. The motors will stop spinning.

Takeoff

Method 1: Short press the [Takeoff/Landing] button. The drone will automatically take off and hover at 4 ft. You can then control it with the joysticks.

Method 2: Pick up the drone, lay it flat on your palm, and gently toss it into the air. It will hover in place.

Landing

When the drone is flying, short press the [Takeoff/Landing] button. The drone will automatically land.

Important: Keep your drone in visual line of sight at all times. If you can't see it, you can't control it.

Functions Details

Speed Switch

The drone has 3 speed modes: Low, Medium, and High. Short press the [Speed Switch] button to cycle through the modes. The transmitter beeps once for Low, twice for Medium, and three times for High speed. Low speed is the default.

High-Speed Rotation

Short press the [High-Speed Rotation] button. The transmitter beeps once, and the drone begins to rotate quickly. Push the right joystick in any direction to stop the rotation.

Circle Fly

Long press the [Circle Fly] button. The transmitter will make a long beep, indicating the drone has entered Circle Fly mode. Push the right joystick in any direction to exit.

360° Flip

When the drone is at least 10 ft from the ground, short press the [360° Flip] button, then push the right joystick forward/backward or leftward/rightward. The drone will perform a flip in the corresponding direction.

Note: 360° Flip functions better when the battery is fully charged.

Emergency Stop

Warning: Use only in emergencies to avoid damage or injury.

  1. Simultaneously long press the left and right joysticks. The motors will stop immediately. Be aware of potential breakage if the drone falls from a significant height or hits an object at high speed.
  2. After the drone lands, the drone indicator will keep flashing. Place the drone on a level surface, push the left joystick downward. The indicator will turn from flashing to solid, indicating the drone is ready for use.

Headless Mode

Headless Mode is useful for beginners and when the drone is far away, making orientation difficult. The drone travels forward, backward, left, or right based on right joystick input, regardless of the drone's front-facing direction.

Pilot Guidance: The pilot should stay facing the same direction as the drone's head when it takes off.

Entering: Short press the [Headless Mode] button. The drone indicator keeps flashing.

Exiting: Short press the [Headless Mode] button again. The transmitter beeps once, indicating exit from Headless Mode.

Orientation Importance: In normal mode, controls can be counter-intuitive. Headless Mode provides a fixed reference point, simplifying control.

Altitude-Hold Function

The drone can maintain its altitude after the left joystick is released (it springs back to the middle).

Attitude Adjustment

Trimmer

Forward Trim: If the drone drifts forward:

  1. Press the [Forward Trim] button once.
  2. Wait 2 seconds. If it still drifts, press again.
  3. Multiple presses may be needed to balance the drone.
  4. Repeat steps 1 & 2 until the forward drift stops.

Other Trims: Backward/Sideward Trim can be adjusted similarly by pressing the trim button opposite to the drift direction.

Note: Trim adjustments counter drifts not caused by airflow.
