Flashpoint Studio II Series 300IIV/400IIV Monolight

WITH BUILT-IN R2 2.4GHz RADIO REMOTE SYSTEM AND COB LED MODELING LAMP

Foreword

The Flashpoint Studio 400 II V and Studio 300 II V R2 are manual, non-TTL 400-watt second and 300-watt second monolights, respectively. These compact AC studio lights are members of the R2 Family of wireless radio-controlled flashes. The 400 II V delivers a Guide Number (GN) of 256ft/65m, and the 300 II V delivers 228ft/58m, both compatible with standard Bowens reflectors and modifiers. They feature a 10W COB LED modeling lamp. These units are designed for flexible multiple light setups in studios or home environments and can operate on household circuits without blowing fuses. They are compatible with the Flashpoint R2 Wireless Remotes, offering seamless integration with the Studio Series. The Studio 400II-V and 300II-V R2 offer a maximum recycle time of 1.5 seconds, guaranteed by AC mains power. Digital controls for Power, Sync, Channel, and Group are clearly displayed on the rear graphical LCD panel, with manual controls adjustable in 0.1 stop increments across a 4-stop range. The incorporated R2 radio receiver supports signals up to 100m/328ft, with 32 channels and 16 individual groups. A standard PC port is also available for wired triggering. The AC power ensures unlimited use of the modeling lamp, which is adjustable from 5% to 100% brightness and features a cool COB LED. The replaceable flashtubes are housed within a standard Bowens S-Type 60-degree high-efficiency reflector.

The R2 Wireless system is a 2.4GHz radio system that connects the Flashpoint R2 Wireless Family. It links to transmitter signals up to over 100m/328ft, supporting channels and individual groups. Wired connection via the standard PC port is also possible.

Flashpoint, an innovator in studio and location lighting, offers these monolights as part of the R2 Family, providing ease of control for studio-based photography.
