Samsung Galaxy Trade-In Program Terms and Conditions

Organizer

SIA Samsung Electronics Baltics, registration No. 40003963909, located at Duntes Street 6, Riga, LV-1013, Latvia (hereinafter – Organizer), together with Samsung product sellers (hereinafter – Sellers), organizes the Samsung Galaxy Trade-In Program promotion (hereinafter – Promotion) to promote specific Samsung devices.

General Promotion Terms

The Promotion runs from July 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM to September 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM (hereinafter – Promotion Period).

The Promotion takes place in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia (hereinafter – Promotion Territory).

The Promotion is valid in Sellers' online and physical stores, listed at:

• samsung.com/lv/atpirkums/
• samsung.com/lt/grazinimas/
• samsung.com/ee/tagasiost/

(hereinafter – Store).

Participants

The Promotion is intended for individuals and legal entities who have purchased the goods mentioned in Clause 8 of these Terms.

Individuals under 18 years of age can participate in this Promotion and receive prizes only with the consent of their parents.

A legal entity participating in the Promotion must be registered in the Promotion Territory, and its bank account must be registered in the Promotion Territory.

Promotion

The Promotion products are Samsung smart devices listed in Appendix I of these Terms (hereinafter – Promotion Product).

By purchasing the Promotion Products, the buyer (hereinafter – Participant) has the right to participate in the Promotion organized by the Organizer in accordance with these Terms. The purchase must be made during the Promotion Period, in a Store, and the products must be advertised together with the Trade-In Program. This Promotion is not applicable to products sold in Stores that are not advertised with the Trade-In Program.

The Promotion offer is valid only for those Promotion Products distributed by the Organizer and sold in the Stores. This Promotion does not apply to Samsung products distributed by other third parties. The buyer must verify that the selected products are available in the Store at the time of purchase and that the Promotion is applied to them. The buyer must carefully familiarize themselves with these Terms and the list of Sellers mentioned in Clause 4 of these Terms to avoid possible misunderstandings.

This Promotion is applicable only to new Promotion Products and is not valid for refurbished products, resold or previously used products, products used as demonstration or exhibition items, or otherwise used for commercial purposes.

If the Participant has any questions about the color, technical parameters, or other information related to the respective Promotion Products, they should contact the Samsung call center mentioned in Clause 42 of these Terms, or the Store representatives.

Trade-In Program

The Trade-In Program provides for the refund of the Participant's old electronic device in accordance with the list of product restrictions mentioned in Clause 14 of these Terms (hereinafter – Old Device), if the Participant purchases a Promotion Product in a Store during the Promotion Period and chooses one of the options below to return their Old Device:

• At the Seller's physical store at the time of purchasing the Promotion Product;
• In the Seller's online store in accordance with the terms of the specific online store;
• By visiting the trade-in program website, namely, www.tagasiost.ee in Estonia, www.atpirkums.lv in Latvia, or www.senainauja.lt in Lithuania;

If the Participant chooses to hand over their Old Device to the Seller's physical store at the time of purchasing the Promotion Product, the trade-in value is granted to the Participant as a discount when purchasing the Promotion Product and handing over their Old Device at the Store at the time of purchasing the Promotion Product. If the price of the selected Promotion Product is less than the trade-in value of the Old Device, the Organizer and the Seller are not obliged to pay the difference, nor is it to be paid to the Partner.

If the Participant does not hand over their Old Device in accordance with the terms of this agreement, the Participant is not entitled to receive the trade-in value and any additional Trade-In Program benefits, if any.

If the Participant chooses to hand over their Old Device to the Seller's online store in accordance with the terms of the specific online store, the Participant must carefully familiarize themselves with the terms of the specific online store. The Organizer is not responsible for the terms of another Seller, and in case of claims, the Participant should contact the specific Seller.

If the Participant chooses to hand over their Old Device by visiting the trade-in program website, namely, www.tagasiost.ee in Estonia, www.atpirkums.lv in Latvia, or www.senainauja.lt in Lithuania, the Participant is entitled to participate in the Promotion as described below:

• The amount of the value of the respective product within the Trade-In Program will be provided to the Participant as a refund (bank transfer) after the Participant sends their Old Device to the Partner.
• To carry out the Trade-In Program, the trade-in value of the customer's Old Device is determined by Foxway OU, registration number: 12703942, address: Killustiku Põik 1, Vahi 60534, Estonia (hereinafter – Partner).
• The Participant must provide the IMEI code or serial number of the purchased Promotion Product (only for products without a SIM card), information about the purchase, and complete a self-assessment of the trade-in value of their Old Device and complete the registration on the website within 7 days from the date of purchase of the Promotion Product.
• The Participant acknowledges that this self-assessment value is illustrative and approximate and may change. The exact refund value will be determined by the Partner.
• After the Participant has completed the self-assessment, they must hand over their Old Device to the designated delivery service within 14 days to ensure the Old Device is sent to the Partner within 14 days of registration on the website. Delivery is provided free of charge. If the Participant does not hand over their Old Device to the Partner within the specified period for the Trade-In Program, the Participant is not entitled to receive a refund.
• The Participant must send only the device registered in the Trade-In Program. The Partner is not liable for packaging, original boxes, or accessories sent with the Old Device. Any packaging, original boxes, or accessories sent with the Old Device will not be returned and will be destroyed immediately.
• The Participant will receive a refund in the amount of the Partner's approved or updated valuation after the Partner has completed the evaluation. The refund will be made after the expiry of the statutory withdrawal period (14 days).
• The Participant will not receive a refund if the Participant exercises their statutory right of withdrawal for the Promotion Products purchased within this Promotion. If the Participant has not made a final decision regarding the Promotion Products, the Participant should not send their Old Device to the Partner within the Trade-In Program.
• The trade-in is carried out by the Partner, not by Samsung or the Sellers. If the Participant is not satisfied with the trade-in process, they must contact the Partner.

Before handing over their Old Device, the Participant must remove all associated accounts from the Old Device, including, but not limited to, Google account (for all Android devices), Samsung account (for Samsung devices), iCloud (for iOS devices), and completely reset the old device to factory settings. The Participant is advised to create a backup of their data to avoid losing valuable information.

Only one Old Device can be submitted within the Trade-In Program.

Old Device Evaluation

The Old Device submitted by the Participant to the Trade-In Program is expected to be in working condition. The Old Device must not be disassembled. It must be submitted in its original assembled form; counterfeit Old Devices or Old Devices with third-party spare parts will not be accepted.

To verify if your Old Device is eligible for the Promotion, please check the device evaluation tool available at www.atpirkums.lv in Latvia, www.senainauja.lt in Lithuania, www.tagasiost.ee in Estonia. If the device is available in the search list, the Old Device is considered eligible for the Promotion if it meets the requirements specified in Clause 18 of these terms. If the Old Device model is not found using the search tool, the device is not eligible for the Promotion.

The value of the Old Device depends on the device's condition, model, and market fluctuations.

If the Participant participates in this Promotion online, the Partner will evaluate the Old Device and either approve the customer's self-assessed value or update the value based on the actual condition of the device.

The final valuation of the Old Device will be determined by the Partner. Sellers do not guarantee the outcome of the evaluation in any way or under any circumstances. The Organizer is not responsible for Partner evaluations, so if clients have any questions about the evaluation procedures, it is recommended to contact the Partner.

If the Participant participates in this Promotion in physical stores, the Seller's staff, strictly following the Partner's instructions, will evaluate the Old Device and apply the discount accordingly to the price of the Promotion Product.

By participating in the Promotion, the Participant acknowledges that the evaluation of the Old Device is entirely dependent on the Partner.

Personal Data

The Organizer will use the Participant's personal data for the execution of the Trade-In Program promotion and for compliance with accounting legal acts.

Providing personal data to participate in the Promotion is voluntary. However, if the Participant does not provide the requested information, they will not be able to receive a refund.

Participant's personal data is processed based on the following legal grounds: Clause 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter – GDPR) (consent); GDPR Clause 6(1)(c) (compliance with legal obligations); GDPR Clause 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests to promote the Samsung brand and products).

If the Participant's personal data is processed based on their consent, they have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Personal data will be shared only with third-party service providers and/or Organizer group companies that provide services to the Organizer, such as organizing campaigns, maintenance, and other similar services. These third parties will have access to personal data to provide services to the Organizer and/or to implement this Promotion.

Participant's personal data will be stored only for as long as it is necessary for the implementation of the Promotion. If legal proceedings are initiated, personal data may be stored until the end of such legal proceedings. If normative acts provide for mandatory storage of personal data, the Organizer will comply with the relevant provisions.

The Organizer acts as a joint data controller together with the Store and the Partner. To request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, to object to the processing of Participant's personal data, to exercise the right to data portability, or to express other concerns about the processing of their personal data, Participants can submit a request to the European data protection specialist using the GDPR support page, the link to which is available in the Privacy Policy, available at http://www.samsung.com/lv/ (in Latvian), https://www.samsung.com/lt/ (in Lithuanian), https://www.samsung.com/ee/ (in Estonian). Participants can also submit a complaint about the processing of their personal data to the data supervision authority.

General

The Promotion is intended for retail customers only and is not related to products purchased for resale purposes.

The general terms and conditions of sale and delivery of the Store apply, unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms.

The Participant is not entitled to a refund or discount if it is found that the Participant has not complied with these Terms or has unfairly influenced the course of this or any other Organizer's Promotion.

Sellers reserve the right to reasonably amend or cancel the Terms at any time and without prior notice, in accordance with the requirements of applicable legal acts.

Sellers are not responsible for the suspension of the Promotion due to force majeure, international or national sanctions, or other circumstances beyond the Sellers' control.

The Participant agrees that the Sellers are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred in connection with the Promotion, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If the Participant has complied with the terms of the Promotion, but the Partner refuses to make the payment corresponding to the trade-in value of the Old Device, the client must file a claim with the Partner. Sellers and/or SIA Samsung Electronics Baltics are not responsible for any limitations or amendments made by the Partner in connection with the Promotion.

The execution of the Promotion is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes related to the Promotion will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Latvia.

If the Participant has questions or claims regarding the Promotion, they can be submitted until December 1, 2025, by calling or writing to the call center.

Appendix I

Promotion Products

To avoid doubt, the number of eligible Old Device models is limited. If the Old Device cannot be found according to the requirements specified in Clause 21 of these terms, then it is not eligible for the Promotion.
