DESCRIPTION 1 Oil Pan Assembly 2 Seal Ring 3 Operation Manual 4 Installation Manual QT REMARKS 1 2 1 1 - 2 - 11999-AT001 1. REMOVAL OF OIL PAN Before beginning removal of the oil pan, drain the engine. Use this instruction manual and the manufacturer's service manual as a reference. Make sure to remove the seal ring. 2. INSTALLATION OF OIL PAN Clean and air-blow the oil pan before installation to prevent entrance of foreign objects. (1) Clean the installation surface of the oil pan of the engine side. Remove the liquid gasket remained in the surface by a scraper or a similar tool. Degrease the installation surface. (2) Apply the liquid gasket as shown in the diagram shown in the right. Use ThreeBond 1217G liquid gasket. FA20(ZN6ZC6) Apply liquid gasket to the Oil Pan Sub-Assembly. 9.5mm FA24(ZN8ZD8) Apply liquid gasket to the Oil Pan. Liquid Gasket Diameter 4.0 to 6.0mm 10.5 to 13.5mm - 3 - Liquid Gasket Diameter 4.0 to 5.0mm 11999-AT001 (3) Degrease the installation surface of the Oil Pan. Install the provided Seal Ring. P1: Oil Pan x 1 P1 P2: Seal Ring x 2 Seal Ring P2 (4) Install the Oil Pan, and tighten 11 stock bolts referring to the factory service manual. Tightening Torque: 6.4Nm(0.65kgfm) NOTE Refill the engine oil after the liquid gasket hardens. P1 * Tightening procedure (in the order listed in the maintenance manual). After installation of the Bolt-on Turbo Kit is finished, carefully check that there is no oil leaking from the oil pan's installation surface. Also, carefully check that there is no oil leaking from the joint of the oil return hose.
