Component Description

Reset Button: Long press the "reset" hole for 5 seconds for a successful reset.

It is recommended to insert an 8-128GB high-speed Micro TF card for storage, viewing historical video, and supporting important functions such as firmware upgrading. Without it, these functions may not be available.

Installation and Setup

Install the Smart Life APP

Download the "Smart Life" APP by scanning the QR code provided. Register and log in to the app according to the on-screen prompts.

Add Device - Scan QR Code Mode

Follow these steps to add your camera:

  1. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is available and connected to the Internet.
  2. Connect the camera to power. Wait for the system startup to complete.
  3. Open the "Smart Life" APP. Press the [add icon] '+' in the upper right corner of the main screen.
  4. Select "Security & Video Surveillance", then click "Smart Camera".
  5. Click "Next step" to begin adding the camera.

A QR code will appear on your screen. Position the camera approximately 20-30 cm away from the mobile phone lens to scan the QR code. Once scanned, click "Hear the prompt sound". The app will then show "connecting".

Note: Ensure the device is reset first. The indicator light should be flashing quickly, or a prompt tone should be heard before proceeding.

Add Device - Wi-Fi Fast Connection Mode (AP Mode)

This mode is an alternative method for connecting your device.

  1. Select "AP Mode" from the connection options.
  2. Click "Next".
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi account and password for a network that the device can connect to.
  4. Click to complete the connection.

Important Note: Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported. If your mobile phone is not connected to Wi-Fi, follow the prompts to connect it. The app will guide you through selecting the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and entering the password.

Connection Completion

After successful connection, click "Done". You will then be taken to the preview interface. Closing the preview interface returns you to the APP home page, where your connected device will be listed. You can click on the device to view the monitoring situation directly.

Matters Need Attention

  • Try to keep the camera away from metal spaces.
  • Avoid placing it near furniture or microwave ovens that might block signals.
  • Ensure adequate space around the camera, avoiding areas where audio, video, and data lines are wound.
  • Position the camera as close as possible to the Wi-Fi signal coverage area.
  • If switching network environments or experiencing issues, press the reset hole for about 5 seconds to reconnect to the network.
