Wiring (Optional)

You have the option to wire your DishDrawer™ dishwasher with a permanent connection. To do so, we recommend removing the supplied power cord and performing the wiring installation as close to the cavity as possible.

  1. Open the drawer and push the two locking tabs backward to release it.
  2. Lift the drawer off the slides and set it aside carefully on a protected surface. Push the slides inward.
  3. Take care not to pull the drawer too far out to avoid tension on the hoses. Where possible, protect the bottom of the tub to prevent damage.
  4. Remove the cover retaining screw. Set it aside.
  5. Lift the cover upwards until it can be pulled off.
  6. Unscrew the live, neutral, and ground wires as illustrated. Ensure you do not remove the top ground wire.
  7. Carefully remove the product cord. Set aside the toroidal transformer for later use.
  8. Install a cable clamp suitable for the conduit into the knock-out hole. Route the wiring behind the tab and through the previously removed toroidal transformer. Ensure you use only copper conductors.
  9. Secure the live and neutral wires to the terminal block and the ground wire to the chassis.
  10. Position the cover fill valve in place before lowering the remaining part of the cover into position.
  11. Lower the cover to replace it, ensuring the locking clips align, the rear hook is positioned on the slot, and the L-shaped spline is clear.
  12. Reinsert the clips by pressing firmly on the cover. Ensure all illustrated areas are engaged.
  13. Reinstall the screw to secure the cover.
  14. Before reinstalling the drawer, ensure the hoses are not kinked. Reinstall the drawer onto the slides and engage it in place using the two locking tabs.

Cabinet Preparation

Accessing Connections

  • Connection holes can be located on either side of the DishDrawer™ dishwasher cavity, as illustrated below.
  • If the hole is drilled in a wood panel, ensure its edges are rounded.
