What's in the Box
The package contains the following items:
- 01 Microphone: The main wireless microphone unit.
- 02 2.4GHz receiver (for USB-C version only): A USB-C dongle for connecting to compatible devices.
- 03 2.4GHz receiver (for Lightning version only): A Lightning dongle for connecting to compatible Apple devices.
- 04 Charging case: A case for storing and charging the microphone and receiver.
- 05 Windscreen: A foam cover to reduce wind noise and plosives.

Product Overview
Microphone

2.4GHz Receiver

Getting Started
JBL Headphones App
Download the JBL Headphones app from the Apple App Store or Google Play on your mobile device. This app provides enhanced control and personalization for your JBL Quantum Stream Wireless, including microphone gain, noise suppression, and sound effects.
First-time setup on PC (for USB-C version only)
Download and install JBL QuantumENGINE from www.jblquantum.com/engine to access full features such as microphone gain, EQ settings, and voice quality meter.
Software Requirements:
- Platform: Windows 10 (64 bit only) / Windows 11
- 500MB of free hard drive space for installation
TIP: Always use the latest version of Windows 10 (64 bit) or Windows 11 for the most optimal experience with JBL QuantumENGINE.
- Connect the 2.4GHz receiver to your PC via USB-C connection.
- Navigate to "Sound Settings" > "Sound Control Panel".
- In the "Recording" tab, highlight "JBL Quantum Stream Wireless" and select "Set Default" > "Default Device".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to personalize your sound settings.
First-time setup on Mac (for USB-C version only)
- Connect the 2.4GHz receiver to your Mac via USB-C connection.
- Go to "System Preferences" > "Sound" > "Input".
- Select "JBL Quantum Stream Wireless" as the sound input device.

How to Wear
Clip the microphone to your desired position to capture sound effectively from all directions.
TIP: Install the windscreen to reduce wind noise while recording.

Using Your Microphone
First Time Use
Before first-time use, place the microphone into the charging case for activation.

Charging
Diagram Description: Illustrations show the charging process. The microphone is placed in the charging case, and the charging case is connected to a power source via the USB cable. A graphic indicates charging times: 15 minutes charge for 1 hour of use, and 2 hours for a full charge.
- It takes approximately two hours to fully charge the microphone using the charging case.
- The fast charging feature provides one hour of use from a fifteen-minute charge.
TIPS:
- Ensure the charging pins on the microphone and charging case are properly aligned and in good contact during charging.
- Open the charging case lid to check the battery level. Refer to "LED behaviors" for details. Use the provided USB cable to charge the charging case when needed.
Power On & Connect

- Open the charging case lid and take out the microphone to power it on.
- Plug the 2.4GHz receiver into your mobile device, PC, or Mac.
- The microphone will automatically connect to the 2.4GHz receiver.
- Upon successful connection, the LEDs on both the microphone and the 2.4GHz receiver will turn solid white.
Manual Pairing

- Short press and then hold the button on the microphone for more than 5 seconds until the LED flashes white quickly.
- Plug the 2.4GHz receiver into your mobile device, PC, or Mac.
- The microphone will begin pairing with the 2.4GHz receiver.
- After a successful connection, the LEDs on the microphone and the 2.4GHz receiver will turn solid white.
Controls
Personalize Your Sound Settings in JBL Headphones App

- Slide the slider to adjust microphone gain.
- Tap the button to enable noise cancelling, then slide the slider to adjust the noise cancelling level (Low, Mid, High).
- Tap the button to select microphone effects (e.g., Natural).
- Slide the slider to adjust LED brightness, or tap the button to turn off the LEDs.
Personalize Your Sound Settings in JBL QuantumENGINE (For USB-C Version Only)
Download and launch JBL QuantumENGINE on your PC to personalize your sound settings, including microphone volume, noise cancelling, microphone effect, and LED brightness.

Charge & Record (for Mobile Device Only)
Connect the 2.4GHz receiver to your mobile device. Use a charging cable to charge your mobile device simultaneously while recording.

Power Off
To power off the microphone, place it into the charging case and close the lid.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems using this product, please review the following points before requesting service.
No Power
- Place the microphone back into the charging case, then remove it again to power it on.
- Recharge the microphone and the charging case (refer to "Charging").
2.4GHz Pairing Failed Between Microphone and 2.4GHz Receiver
- Move the microphone closer to the 2.4GHz receiver.
- Manually pair the microphone with the 2.4GHz receiver again (refer to "Manual pairing").
Distorted Sound
- Decrease the microphone gain to an appropriate level.
- Adjust the microphone position so it is not too close to the sound source.
- Install the windscreen onto the microphone to reduce wind noise during recording.
No Sound or Poor Sound During Recording
- Ensure the microphone is not muted.
- Verify that the microphone and 2.4GHz receiver are connected.
- Move the microphone closer to the sound source.
- Increase the microphone gain and noise cancelling levels as needed.
- Ensure "JBL Quantum Stream Wireless" is selected as the default recording device in your PC or Mac's sound settings (for USB-C version only).
