- Charging: Use only a certified 5V, ≥1A SELV power supply unit. For safe charging in moist environments, use an IPX4 (splash-proof) unit. Keep the USB cable, power unit, and charging stand dry.
- Waterproof Design: The appliance is waterproof (??) and suitable for use in the bath or shower, and for cleaning under the tap. For safety, it can only be used without a cord.
- Child Safety: Can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities if supervised or instructed on safe use and hazards. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by children require supervision.
- Usage Restrictions: Do not modify the power unit. Do not use the power unit near electric air fresheners. Do not use a damaged appliance; replace damaged parts with new Philips parts. For hygiene, use by one person is recommended.
- Cleaning: Unplug before cleaning with water. Use only cold or lukewarm water. Never use compressed air, scouring pads, abrasive cleaners, or aggressive liquids. Water may drip from the bottom socket, which is normal.
- Accessories: Use only original Philips accessories.
- Operating Conditions: Charge, use, and store between 10°C and 35°C.
- Heat & Fire: Keep product and batteries away from fire and direct sunlight/high temperatures. If the product becomes abnormally hot, smelly, changes color, or takes longer to charge, stop use and contact Philips. Do not place in microwaves or on induction cookers.
- Battery Safety: Do not open, modify, pierce, damage, or dismantle the product or battery. This prevents overheating or release of toxic substances. Do not short-circuit, overcharge, or reverse charge batteries. If batteries are damaged or leaking, avoid contact with skin/eyes; rinse well with water and seek medical attention.

Getting Started and Usage
Charging the Appliance ?
- Connect the USB cable to the power adapter and a power outlet.
- Connect the USB cable to the charging stand or directly to the appliance.
- Place the appliance on the charging stand if applicable.
- The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 60 minutes and provides up to 120 minutes of cordless use.
General Trimming ✂️
Select the desired comb attachment or use the trimmer without a comb for a close trim (approx. 0.5mm).
- Attach the chosen comb securely to the appliance.
- Turn on the appliance.
- Move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth for an even cut.
- Adjust comb length as needed for desired results.
Beard and Hair Trimming
Use the appropriate comb attachments (e.g., 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, 9mm, 16mm, etc.) to achieve your desired beard or hair length. For detailed styling or shaping, use the precision trimmer.
Body Grooming
Use the appliance with suitable attachments for body hair trimming, following the direction of hair growth for comfort.
Detail Trimming (Eyebrows, Mustache, etc.)
Use the precision trimmer or specific small comb attachments for detailed work, such as shaping eyebrows or trimming around the mustache.
Nose, Ear, and Eyebrow Trimming
Attach the dedicated nose/ear trimmer or eyebrow comb and use gently for safe and precise grooming of these sensitive areas.
Cleaning and Maintenance ?
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
- Rinse the trimmer head and attachments under a tap with cold or lukewarm water.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any hair debris from the trimmer head and attachments.
- Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling or storing.
- Store the appliance and accessories in a dry place.

Removal of Built-in Rechargeable Battery
The built-in rechargeable battery should only be removed by a qualified professional when the appliance is discarded. Follow these safety precautions:
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged and the battery is fully discharged.
- Use appropriate tools to open the appliance and carefully remove the battery.
- Take safety precautions when handling tools and the battery.
- Keep hands, product, and battery dry during handling.
- Prevent accidental short-circuiting of battery terminals by avoiding contact with metal objects. Do not wrap batteries in aluminum foil. Tape terminals or place in a plastic bag before disposal.
