Cooper Lighting Solutions Consumer Limited Product Warranty

COOPER LIGHTING, LLC ("CLS") WARRANTS THAT FOR THE PERIOD SET FORTH IN ATTACHMENT A FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE, THE PRODUCT WILL BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP (the "Limited Warranty").

If the product does not conform to this Limited Warranty, CLS will send you, at its election, either a replacement product or refund your original price upon receipt of the returned device, register receipt, and proof of purchase. CLS' RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS IS LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT OR REFUND, AND IS YOUR SOLE REMEDY. The warranty period is not extended if the product is replaced.

Obtaining Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, please contact CLS, at 1-800-334-6871, press option 2 for US, and press option 3, or e-mail consumerproducts@cooperlighting.com and include the following information:

• Name, address and phone number, date and place of purchase, catalog and quantity purchased, detailed description of the problem.
• A copy of your sales receipt is required before warranty performance shall be rendered.

This Limited Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the product. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee or user of the product. In addition, if this product was purchased online, this Limited Warranty only applies to product purchased from Cooper Lighting, LLC or a Cooper Lighting, LLC authorized reseller, as listed in the current version of the Authorized Reseller List which can be found here: https://www.cooperlighting.com/global/resources/legal/consumer-warranty-online-resellers

This Limited Warranty applies to the products / brands / terms noted in Attachment A only. All other products are warrantied through the standard terms and conditions of Cooper Lighting Solutions that can be found at www.cooperlighting.com/legal/.

This Limited Warranty does not cover any damage or defect due to (a) neglect, or improper storage, installation or use, (b) failure to follow the product instructions, (c) modifications or unauthorized repairs, (d) normal wear and tear, (e) shipping, or (f) external causes such as accidents abuse, or other acts beyond our reasonable control. Damage to the product caused by replacement bulbs or corrosion or discoloration of brass components are not covered by this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty does not apply to products not manufactured by CLS which have been supplied, installed, and or used in conjunction with CLS products.

EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IS HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.

Some states and provinces do not allow exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Attachment A

COOPER Lighting Solutions

1 Ungrounded or Improperly grounded systems not in compliance with current NEC code are excluded from Cooper Lighting Solutions warranty of LED products.

4 HALO, HALO Commercial CFL recessed lighting products, Portfolio and All-Pro CFL recessed lighting products - as registered in the ENERGY STAR "Qualified Products List"; the limited warranty set forth shall have a period of 3 (three) years from the date of purchase of the products.

7 Subject to all the limitations set forth in Cooper Lighting's Domestic USA General Terms and Conditions of Sale, LED products in the following brands - Halo Recessed, Halo Track, Halo Commercial Recessed, IRIS, Metalux Commercial, Metalux Specification, Metalux Industrial, Metalux All-Pro, Fail-Safe, Corelite, and RSA products, the limited warranty set forth shall be a period of 5 years from the date of purchase of products. Specifically the light engine comprised of LEDs and driver or drivers. All other mechanical components and hardware are covered for 1 year.

12 Certain fixtures use non-acrylic materials in light guides or lenses that may naturally shift color or yellow over time, such as polystyrene. The warranty applicable to these fixtures does not cover against yellowing or color shifting in light guides or lenses using these materials and Cooper Lighting disclaims all warranties, express and implied, with respect to yellowing or color shifting of such light guides and lenses.
