Welcome to your new remote
This guide outlines buttons specific to the Halo remote. Next to the power button is an ambient light sensor, to automatically adjust the screen and button brightness.
Remote Overview
The Halo Remote Touch features a sleek design with a touchscreen and physical buttons for intuitive control of your smart home devices.
- Ambient Light Sensor: Located at the top of the remote, it automatically adjusts screen and button brightness.
- Power Button: A quick press turns a room off; press and hold to power the remote on or off.
- Touchscreen: Tap to select Favorites and menus. Swipe left to move between Favorites and Experience menus.
- On-Screen Interface: View the Control4 on-screen TV interface (if enabled).
- Navigation/Selection Buttons: These buttons navigate and select menu items of the current media device. They include directional controls (up, down, left, right) and a central select button.
- Voice Control: Press the push-to-talk button to activate voice commands.
- Playback Controls: Includes buttons for rewind [<<], play/pause [▶️||], fast forward [>>], stop [◼️], and record [?].
