Safety Instructions
General Safety:
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
- The appliance must only be used with the supplied EWS power pack.
- To unplug, grip the plug, not the lead.
- Do not use extension cables.
- Ensure the appliance does not come into contact with clothes, eyelashes, or hair to prevent injury or blockage.
- Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaning products.
- Do not use the appliance at temperatures below 0°C or above 35°C.
- The appliance contains batteries that can only be replaced by qualified persons.
- For your safety, this appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations (Low Voltage, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Environmental directives, etc.).
Specific Usage Warnings:
- The appliance will not work while connected to the mains power supply.
- Do not use the epilator on eyelashes, hair, damaged skin, or areas with health risks (varicose veins, beauty spots, birthmarks), or if you have skin conditions like eczema, inflamed skin, or acne.
- For bikini area use, only use on the external contour, never on intimate areas.
- For hygiene reasons, do not lend the appliance to others.
- It is advised not to apply too much pressure to sensitive areas (knees, shins, armpits).
- The hand-held parts must be disconnected before cleaning under water. Suitable for use in the shower.
Preparation of the Skin
- Your skin must be clean and dry.
- For dry epilation, small red spots may appear after use, indicating successful hair removal; these will disappear quickly. It is advisable to epilate in the evening. Apply a soothing cream if necessary after epilation.
Peeling (according to model)
- It is strongly recommended to use the Exfoliator Head 2 days before epilation to avoid irritating your skin.
- Do not use a peeling gel or cream at the same time.
- After peeling, wipe the area with a moist flannel to remove dead skin.
Pedicure (according to model)
- Do not use the appliance on any part of your body other than your feet, on damaged or infected skin, or on blisters, verrucas, or corns.
- Consult a doctor if your skin becomes very irritated or starts to bleed.
- Do not use the appliance on the same spot for longer than 3 seconds at a time. Do not exert excessive pressure on your skin.
- Do not use if you have diabetes or poor circulation.
- If you suffer from skin problems or other medical problems, consult your doctor before using the appliance.
- Do not insert objects into the appliance or disassemble it.
Guarantee
This appliance is designed for domestic use only and not for professional use. The guarantee will be null and void if the appliance is not used correctly.
Environmental Protection
Your appliance contains valuable materials that can be recovered or recycled, including rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries. Please leave it at a waste collection point or an approved service centre for correct disposal.
