ENTRY CRITERIA

1. Entrant must register their interest via the Samsung Form on the community post "[Members Stars Recruitment] The time to unfold your passion" on the Samsung Members Community Platform between July 21st – August 3rd 2025.
2. Entrant must be 18 years or over.
3. Entrant must answer all questions on the Samsung Form.
4. Eligible Entries will be judged based on creativity and originality.
5. Samsung Members Stars recruitment requires a Samsung Account and a Samsung Members Account.
6. Entries will be open from 12:00pm AEDT 23 July, 2025 to 11:59pm (AEDT) 3rd August, 2025 to be eligible for selection into the Members Star's Program.
7. Shortlisted participants will be contacted by 5pm on 6 August, 2025 via direct message on the community.

All you need to do is fill your details in the Samsung Form and answer the questions for your chance to be selected.

Entries are open from 12:00pm July 23rd and close at 11:59pm August 3rd, 2025. Successful applicants will be shortlisted and contacted via direct message on the Samsung Members Community Platform by 5:00pm August 6th, 2025.

Successful Applicants Announcement Date: The qualifying applicants that have responded to Samsung, successfully completed stage 2 activity “Galaxy Through My Eyes Recruitment Challenge” and accepted the position as a Samsung Members Star will be announced on September 3rd, 2025. They will also be announced in a post in Discussion or Lounge in the Samsung Members Community Platform congratulating usernames.

Samsung Members Community Members Stars Recruitment Challenge (Promotion)

Terms and conditions for game of skill promotion (T&Cs)

Promotion

The Program is an opportunity for select Samsung Members to be appointed as a Samsung Members Star.

Eligible Entrants

Australian residents* who:

1. Are aged 18 years and over; and
2. Are eligible members of Samsung Members Community (“Samsung Member”); and
3. Otherwise comply with these T&C's.

The following individuals are excluded from this Promotion:

• Persons who are employees of the Promoter or their Immediate Family Member**; and
• Employees of any agency associated with this Promotion.

*For clarity, companies, businesses and organisations of any description are excluded from participating in this Promotion.

**"Immediate Family Member” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

Personal Information

An Eligible Entrant is required to provide their full name, date of birth, phone number, email address and residential address (excluding PO Boxes).

Eligible Entry

The Eligible Member must:

1. Hold a valid Samsung Account and a Samsung Members Account; and
2. During the Recruitment Period, complete the questionnaire on the SMC Platform located at the following URL (Samsung Form) (Stage 1): https://r1.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-news/bd-p/au-community-galaxynews?page=1&tab=recent_topics. and
3. During the Recruitment Period, create an engaging post which showcases photos or videos that capture their Samsung journey (Stage 2).

Criteria

1. Requested Customer details must be provided upon selection of being a Members Star.
2. All questions in the Samsung Form must be answered.
3. Entries will be judged based on creativity and originality.

The entry must not contain any inappropriate, unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or illegal content. Samsung reserves the right to remove any image that it deems inappropriate in the circumstances.

Samsung Members Star

Role and Responsibility

If an Eligible Member is appointed as a Samsung Member Star, they will have the opportunity to take part in various online activities, including virtual interactions with other Galaxy users and spreading useful information about Galaxy.

Benefits

If appointed as a Samsung Member Star, the Eligible Member will also have the opportunity to:

• Virtually participate in official Samsung events;
• Participate in a new device trial;
• Receive a special Samsung Members Star badge and community level;
• Receive exclusive Samsung gifts for Members Stars.

Judging

All Eligible Entries (for both stages) will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprising employees of Samsung and/or an agent of Samsung. The Panel will determine, in its absolute discretion, the Eligible Entries submitted that best satisfy the Criteria. A minimum of twenty-five (25) Shortlisted Candidates who submitted the Eligible Entries that best satisfy the Criteria in Stage 2 and who were determined to be most suitable, will each become a Samsung Members Star ("Successful Applicant").

Successful Applicants will be notified via direct message by the 26th of August 2025. Applicants must respond and agree to accept their appointment by 5pm 28th of August 2025, providing their name, phone number, delivery address, and Samsung Members Username. Successful Applicants will be announced on Wednesday 3rd of September 2025 via a post in Discussion or Lounge within the SMC Platform congratulating successful applicant's usernames. These T&Cs apply to a Second Chance Winner as if they were a Winner.

Second Chance Winner

If a Successful Applicant cannot satisfy these T&Cs or forfeits or fails to accept their appointment by 5pm 28th of July 2025 after being notified, they will be deemed to have forfeited their appointment. In such circumstances, the Panel will meet to determine the Eligible Entrant who, in the Panel's absolute discretion, submitted the Eligible Entry that best satisfies the Criteria out of the remaining Eligible Entries ("Second Chance Member"). The Second Chance Member will be notified of their appointment in the same manner as the Successful Applicant. These T&Cs apply to a Second Chance Member as if they were a Successful Applicant.

General

• Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these T&Cs.
• This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other Samsung offer or promotion, unless otherwise advised.
• This Promotion is not open to companies, businesses, commercial ventures, organisations or anyone acting on their behalf. Employees (and their immediate family members) of agencies/companies directly associated with the conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter, its distributors, suppliers, subsidiary companies/businesses and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter.
• There is a limit of one Prize per Eligible Entrant.
• All prices quoted in these T&Cs are inclusive of GST.
• The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
• If this Promotion is interfered with or cannot be conducted as planned, the Promoter may disqualify any entrant and/or modify, suspend or terminate the Promotion as applicable.
• The Promotional Period may be extended at the Promoter's absolute discretion.
• The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including identity, contact number, and place of residence) using all other information available to the Promoter, and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
• Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Eligible Entrants are responsible for ensuring their correct contact number, email address, and address details are provided and any updated details are notified to the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility should an Eligible Entrant fail to receive their Prize due to a failure to provide correct details or to notify of a change to those details.
• Subject to paragraph (i), the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of technical difficulties, server issues or equipment malfunction, theft, unauthorised access or third party interference, any claim, original Purchase documentation or Prize that is late, lost, or misdirected, any variation in the Prize value, or any tax liability incurred by a claimant or any use of the Prize.
• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) ("CCA") or any other legislation which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Privacy

Samsung (or third parties on its behalf) may collect personal information to conduct the Promotion and disclose such information to third parties for this purpose, including agents, contractors, service providers and offer suppliers. Validity of an Eligible Entry is conditional on providing this information. Some of these entities may be located outside Australia, including in Singapore, Korea and the Philippines. Entrants acknowledge that by consenting to this disclosure, Samsung is not obliged to take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients do not breach Australian privacy law. All entrants consent to their personal information being collected and stored for this purpose in accordance with Samsung's privacy policy available at www.samsung.com/au, which forms part of these T&Cs.
