Introduction
Thank you for your purchase of the BALDR Weather Station with Thermometer and Humidity. This device has been designed and constructed using innovative components and techniques to provide an accurate display of time, temperature, and humidity. Please read these instructions carefully to familiarize yourself with the properties and functions before using the unit.
For start-up:
- Main unit requires 2x AAA batteries.
- Sensor requires 2x AAA batteries.
Overview
Main Unit
The main unit includes the display and controls for the weather station.
LCD Display
The LCD display shows the following information:
- Weather Forecast
- Outdoor Temperature
- Indoor Temperature
- Current Time
- Outdoor Sensor Channel
- Outdoor Humidity
- Indoor Humidity
- Calendar and Moon Phase
- Touch Buttons
Outdoor Sensor
The outdoor sensor is responsible for transmitting temperature and humidity data to the main unit.

Getting Started
Main Unit Installation
- Remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+ and -).
Sensor Installation
- Remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+ and -).
Initialize
After power on, the LCD will display fully for 1 second. The hygrometer will then detect indoor temperature and humidity. It will then start to receive the outdoor signal, which may take up to 3 minutes.

Time Set
- Press and hold the “AL/SET” button to enter time setting mode. The setting data will flash at 1Hz.
- Press “MEM/▼” or “CH/▲” to adjust data. Press and hold “MEM/▼” or “CH/▲” to change data quickly in 8 steps.
- The setting order is: Year → Month → Day → Weekday Language → Time zone → 12/24H → Hour → Minute → °C/°F → Exit.
- Seven languages are selectable for weekday display: French (FR), Dutch (NE), Spanish (ES), Danish (DR), English (EN), German (GE), Italian (IT).
- If there is no operation for 20 seconds, the settings will be automatically saved and exit.
Alarm Set
- In normal time display mode, press “AL/SET” to switch to alarm display mode.
- Press and hold “AL/SET” to enter alarm time setting mode.
- Press “MEM/▼” or “CH/▲” to adjust data. Press and hold “MEM/▼” or “CH/▲” to change data quickly in 8 steps.
- The setting order is: Hour → Minute → Exit.
- In alarm display mode, press the “MEM/▼” button to turn the alarm on or off.
- If there is no operation for 20 seconds, the settings will be automatically saved and exit.
Alarm and Snooze
- When the alarm is ringing, press the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will ring again in 5 minutes.
- Press and hold the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button for more than 3 seconds to stop the alarm. Alternatively, pressing any other button will stop the alarm, and it will restart the next day.
- The ascending “Bibi” alarm sound will last for 2 minutes if no operation.
Max and Min Record
- Press “MEM/▼” to display the maximum temperature and humidity for 5 seconds.
- Press “MEM/▼” a second time to display the minimum temperature and humidity for 5 seconds.
- Press “MEM/▼” a third time to return to standard mode.
- Press and hold “MEM/▼” to clear the max and min records and reactivate the memory.
- Normally, the Max and Min records update every 24 hours at 0:00.
Outdoor Channel
- The hygrometer will automatically receive the outdoor signal after power on. The receiving status indicator will flash for a maximum of 3 minutes. If no signal is received within 3 minutes, the indicator will stop flashing, and the unit will stop receiving the outdoor signal.
- Press the “CH/▲” button to change the channel.
- The setting order is: CH1 → CH2 → CH3 → Channel scan (from CH1 to CH2 to CH3, with 10-second intervals).
- Press and hold the “CH/▲” button for more than 3 seconds to manually enter RF re-registration. Press and hold “CH/▲” again for 3 seconds to exit RF registration.
- The current outdoor temperature and humidity data will be cleared during re-registration.
- Remark: If the hygrometer has previously received outdoor data successfully, and then loses the signal for the next 60 minutes, the outdoor area will display “--.--”.
Weather Forecast
The weather forecast icon will appear after power on. There are 5 kinds of weather modes: Sunny, Sunny To Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy, Stormy. The weather icons are based on the hourly calculation of indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity data. The forecast is for the next 12-24 hours.
Moon Phase
The moon phase will change according to calendar changes.
Precautions
- Do not clean any part of the product with benzene, thinner, or other solvent chemicals. If necessary, clean with a soft cloth.
- Never immerse the product in water, as this can cause electrical shock and damage the product.
- Do not subject the product to extreme force, shock, or fluctuations in temperature or humidity.
- Do not tamper with the internal components.
- Do not mix new and old batteries or batteries of different types.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard, or rechargeable batteries with this product.
- Remove the batteries if storing this product for a long period of time.
- Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary.
Warranty
BALDR provides a 1-year limited warranty on this product against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty service can only be performed by an authorized BALDR service center. The original dated bill of sale must be presented as proof of purchase. The warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship, with the following exceptions:
- Damage caused by accident, unreasonable use, or neglect (including lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance).
- Damage occurring during shipment (claims must be presented to the carrier).
- Damage to, or deterioration of, any accessory or decorative surface.
- Damage resulting from failure to follow instructions contained in the owner's manual.
This warranty covers only actual defects within the product itself and does not cover the cost of installation or removal from a fixed installation, normal set-up or adjustments, or claims based on misrepresentation by the seller or performance variations resulting from installation-related circumstances.
To receive warranty service, the purchaser must contact a BALDR nominated service center for problem determination and service procedure.
