1. Device and Tool Preparation:
Before upgrading the firmware, make sure you have the following
devices and tools ready:
- PC or Laptop
- Power adapter and power cord or Ethernet cable

Follow these steps for firmware update:
- Ensure your firmware version is compatible with the upgrade
path. - If upgrading from VYW100 or VYW101, go through MED004 first
before updating to VYW104 or later versions. - If already on VYW104, you can directly upgrade to VYW105.
- Open a browser and enter the camera’s IP address in the address
bar. - Login with the default credentials – Account: admin, Password:
9999 - Select [Maintenance] to choose the firmware file and click
[Upgrade]. - Wait for the download to complete (around 2-3 minutes).
- Re-login and verify the firmware version from [About] >
[Firmware Version].

Q: What should I do if the firmware update fails?
A: If the update fails, ensure all connections are secure and

3 FW Update Instructions 3.1 Since VYW104 and the later versions include Dante’s data structure, they are not compatible with the first version – VYW100. Please upgrade to the transition version – MED004 before upgrading from VYW100 / VYW101 to the latest version.
(X) VYW100 / VYW101 -> VYW104 (Not compatible) (O) VYW100 -> MED004 -> VYW104 or later versions (The correct upgrade path) (O) VYW104 -> VYW105 (Direct upgrade possible)

4 FW Download 4.1 Open browser and enter the IP address of the camera in the address bar. You can check the IP address from [Status]> [Ethernet] in the menu. 4.2 Enter the account and password to log in webpage. Account: admin Password: 9999(Default)
4.3 Select [Maintenance]> […] to select firmware file and press [Upgrade].

4.4 FW download starts, please don’t close the page. (Around 2-3 minutes taken)
