NFC: Data transfer via chip
The passive NFC chip in the Scuba3s ensures wireless data transfer to an external device with an active NFC reader (such as smartphones).
The working principle is just as simple as paying by NFC with your debit card or smart device: Simply open the PoolAssistant App and place your smartphone above Scuba3s. All data records are transferred simultaneously and are immediately available in the PoolAssistant for evaluation. A data set includes the serial number and firmware version of the device, the name and number of the method, the dates and time of the measurement, the results and the units.

Safe reagents for your pool check
Evo is the new all-round carefree formula for the responsible pool owner. Potassium iodide, which is classified as hazardous to health, is only used as an active ingredient in our DPD Evo tablets in a harmless minimum quantity and is therefore not subject to the usual sales restrictions.
As a pioneer of the DPD method for chlorine determination, Lovibond® as a reagent manufacturer is not only a forerunner on the market here.
We have long dispensed with boric acid and ortho-tholidine, which are also harmful, in our DPD reagents.
Our “Green Chemistry” has already been awarded for its innovation.
Follow the purple belt and the potassium iodide crystal on our products. Then you are guaranteed to be on the safe side. Purple is the identifying colour of iodide.
- Our half-filled crystal in catalogues, on our website and in brochures signals: The potassium iodide content of the product is significantly reduced and nonhazardous.
