Safety Instructions

Please read the safety instructions before installing the
device. Failure to follow the recommended instructions in this
manual may be dangerous or in violation of the law. The
manufacturer is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by
failure to follow the instructions in the operating manual.

Commissioning

  1. In order to remove the top plastic cover, apply pressure with
    two hands on the device from the top and bottom sides.
  2. Gently twist the device counterclockwise until you feel a soft
    click and lift the top plastic cover.
  3. Insert a CR123A battery to power the device; it will
    automatically connect to a network.

Follow the steps provided in the manual for installation.

scenario and checking if the device detects it correctly. Refer to
the manual for detailed testing instructions.

Commissioning 1 Open your LoRaWAN® Network provider access panel and add the device using the
supplied Serial Number, DevEUI, AppEUI (JoinEUI) and AppKey.

2 Continue the Installation with the instructions of
your LoRaWAN® Network provider.

The data is example. Do not use.

You can get DevEUI, AppEUI (JoinEUI) & AppKey information from the LoRaWAN® credentials .csv file we sent you with the fulfillment confirmation.

4 Insert a CR123A to power the device, it will automatically connect to a network.
In order to see whether the device has connected to the network, please check section LED, Buttons and behaviour.

LED, Buttons, Buzzer and behaviour
The device has 1 Button, 1 Anti-tamper button, 1 LED and 1 Acoustic buzzer. The anti-tamper button is activated when the device is opened. A special uplink will be sent at the earliest convenience. The second button is used during commissioning in order to check if the device has connected to the network.
Button
– When you click the Button, the device will activate the LED with the corresponding animation indicating whether the device is connected to a network or not.
– 5 fast blinks mean that the device is not yet connected to a network. A single slow blink means the device is connected to a network.
Buzzer
The Buzzer of the device activates when a flood has been detected. One can change this behaviour using the appropriate downlink. Please consult MClimate’s website for full documentation of available downlink commands for the device.
In order for the device to detect a flood, all three flood detection pins should be in contact with the conductive media.

Installation
There are no special instructions regarding the installation. One must consider NOT installing the device directly under appliances (e.g. washing machine) as the metal parts will influence the RF performance. Instead, please keep the device 1-2cm away from the appliance.
