Product Features
Built-in modes
Use the G8 button to cycle the 3 modes of the built-in profile: Primary MMO, Alternate MMO, and Generic Gaming. Modify and save new profiles and modes using the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS). For more information about modes and profiles, go to www.logitech.com/support/g600.
Programmable thumb keys with RGB backlighting
The 12 G-keys work with the most popular MMO games. Using the LGS, reassign keystrokes, create complex macros, and assign lighting colors and effects (shifting and pulsing) to each mode.
G-shift function
Use the G-Shift button to double the number of commands assigned to the G600 buttons.
In-play sensitivity switching
Out of the box, there are four tracking sensitivity levels: 3200 dpi, 2000 dpi, 1200 dpi (default), and 400 dpi. Choose up to four levels (200 dpi to 8200 dpi) for each profile using the LGS.

You can use your G600 gaming mouse in a game by assigning a key or macro to any of its buttons. For example, you can assign a key to switch weapons or assign a macro to cast a spell.
I have my G600 mapped to some typical actions like jumping because I play a lot of video games, but the main reason I got this was to use it for 3D modeling in apps like 3ds Max and Blender. The G110 keyboard these are excellent for accelerating workflow. With a competent macro gaming mouse, any production software that makes use of several key instructions can be enhanced.
I feel like I’m playing with a brick when using the G600 mouse because it’s so big and heavy, and neither my partner nor I can access half of the buttons. We purchased it entirely for the purpose of having a few programmable buttons. It would be ideal for what we want, which is fast-paced MMO pvp, if they could take half the programmable buttons and plop those into the G203 smaller-size mouse.
Compared to its Razer Naga rival, this device is more difficult to use. G-Shift (second right click) can occasionally become stuck, necessitating physical unplugging and replugging of the mouse in order to restart.
To be absolutely honest, I have no idea. However, given that most mice are compatible with PS4s, I don’t see why it wouldn’t.
It does, indeed. It’s running on my MacBook Air right now.
With the Logitech G Hub, you can quickly set up all the bottoms for Adobe software to swap automatically when the program is focused.
Yes, they are all, but if you opt not to have a mode switch button, you will only be able to use the buttons you have set. A profile can have up to three modes, and switching between them modifies all the buttons according to your selection. In most cases, I decide against having a dpi cycle button and instead use two buttons that are configured to dpi up and dpi down. You can even swap the left and right mouse buttons if you truly want to. In addition, since the “G8” button is located lower and closer to the mouse’s top, it is less likely to be mistakenly depressed.
I don’t know; I purchased this mouse for a Windows computer. But it functions flawlessly on Windows computers.
