Portugal's first row in the dataset — fiber (FTTH) triple-play home gateway (WiFi router + VoIP + TV service ports), IP confirmed at 192.168.1.254 by Altice Labs' official FiberGateway WiFi 6 user manual. MEO's own official self-installation guide states: "Se não tinha configurações personalizadas, consulte o novo nome das redes sem fios e a respetiva password, no autocolante existente na base do novo FiberGateway..." ("...check the new wireless network name and its password on the sticker on the base of the new FiberGateway...") — a per-device label credential.

Recovery & reset instructions

Use the recessed reset button on the FiberGateway to restore factory settings.

How to reach your router

  1. Connect your computer or phone to the router’s Wi-Fi or an Ethernet port.
  2. Open a documented login address. If it does not load, look for the Router or Default gateway address in your device’s network settings.
  3. Match your model and hardware revision to the table. Use the device label or your setup password when the model has no shared default.

Admin password or Wi-Fi password?

The admin password opens the router’s settings. The Wi-Fi password connects a device to the wireless network. They may be different, and an ISP or cloud account can be separate again.

If the password does not work

Check capitalization and the device label, then use the manufacturer’s password-recovery instructions. A factory reset erases settings and may require ISP setup details; follow the instructions for your exact model.
