RF-series variant of the already-seeded wired-only Vigor2765, adding built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi and VoIP telephony (FXS) ports. DrayTek's dedicated RF-series Quick Start Guide explicitly lists '2.2 Vigor2765Vac' as a covered model and gives the same static default: "Open a web browser on your PC and type http://192.168.1.1... please type 'admin/admin' as the Username/Password and click Login."

Recovery & reset instructions

Press and hold the Factory Reset button on the rear panel until the ACT LED blinks quickly, then browse to http://192.168.1.1 and log in with admin/admin.

DrayTekVigor2865Router · Webhttp://192.168.1.1 (opens in a new tab)adminadmin

VDSL2/ADSL2+ (35b) security firewall router with an integrated DSL modem and, on the RF model, 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Genuine static default admin/admin out of the box; the quick-start guide confirms you set a new password on first login, but admin/admin is the factory credential.

Recovery & reset instructions

With the router powered on (ACT LED blinking), press and hold the recessed Factory Reset hole for more than 5 seconds; when the ACT LED blinks rapidly, release to restart at defaults. Then browse to http://192.168.1.1 and log in.

DrayTekVigor2927Router · Webhttp://192.168.1.1 (opens in a new tab)adminadmin

Dual-WAN Gigabit business security/VPN router — Ethernet WAN only (no DSL modem); the wired SKU has no Wi-Fi (the RF variant adds Wi-Fi 5). DrayTek ships a genuine static default of admin/admin; recent firmware then prompts you to set a new password, but admin/admin is the factory credential you first enter.

Recovery & reset instructions

With the router powered on (ACT LED blinking), press and hold the recessed Factory Reset hole for more than 5 seconds; when the ACT LED blinks rapidly, release and let it restart at factory defaults. Then browse to http://192.168.1.1 and log in.

Recovery & reset instructions

Press and hold the recessed Factory Reset button on the rear panel for about 10 seconds until the ACT LED starts blinking, then release; the router reboots to factory defaults. Browse to http://192.168.1.1 and log in with admin/admin (the system then prompts a password change).

How to reach your router

  1. Connect your computer or phone to the router’s Wi-Fi or an Ethernet port.
  2. Open a documented login address. If it does not load, look for the Router or Default gateway address in your device’s network settings.
  3. Match your model and hardware revision to the table. Use the device label or your setup password when the model has no shared default.

Admin password or Wi-Fi password?

The admin password opens the router’s settings. The Wi-Fi password connects a device to the wireless network. They may be different, and an ISP or cloud account can be separate again.

If the password does not work

Check capitalization and the device label, then use the manufacturer’s password-recovery instructions. A factory reset erases settings and may require ISP setup details; follow the instructions for your exact model.
